Nissan's new Low Cost Car's Images Leaked

Nissan had announced its plan to launch a new affordable brand Datsun in developing markets like India, Russia, Indonesia etc under Nissan's 88 plan. The Datsun brand will have highly localised products, which will help to reduce the cost and also make it affordable.

Nissan will introduce the Datsun brand in India by 2014, and we have got some images of the sedan version, which could also make it to India. We had also revealed the fact that Datsun vehicles will be based on the Lada platform and hence, our source for these drawing is a Russian website called Avtojurnal.

Despite the low quality clearance of the drawings we do get a rough estimate of the design of the upcoming Datsun products. The Lada Granta connect is visible and the vehicle could also be sold in Central and Eastern Europe. The Datsun will also introduce two hatchbacks as well. The hatchbacks will be the first to come and then probably the sedans will make their way through. The Datsun products will be built in Chennai and we can expect the brand to announce its arrival in India at the 2014 Auto Expo.
