Porsche to recall Cayenne globally including India

The well known luxury sports car manufacturer, Porsche recently mentioned that it will recall 483 units of Porsche Cayenne cars in India as an element of its global exercise to repair the faulty headlights in about one lakh units of Porsche Cayenne model. Porsche released a statement that about 483 units of Cayenne are affected in the country, therefore fixing would be done as soon as possible. Last week, the firm announced a worldwide recall of 2011 and 2012 Cayenne models.

So that it can work again on its headlight locking system. The company also pointed out that the in-house quality analysis unveiled that in exceptional cases a wrongly locked headlight component can be detached as well. If figures are taken into account, around one lakh units of Porsche Cayenne models are being amended.

This German luxury sports carmaker also said that the workshop job consumes merely forty five minutes to fix the problem on each model and most importantly it free for the consumers.Adding more to it, apart from Porsche Cayenne, Porsche India is also selling some more high class models in Indian car market, which comprise of Porsche Boxter, Porsche Panamera, Porsche Cayman and Porsche 911.
