Refreshed Force Motors Gurkha SUV to launch by Dec-2011

Latest development in Indian Automobile Industry states that Indian automobile manufacturer Force Motors will be re-launching Force Motors Gurkha SUV by Dec 2011. Considered as one of the toughest SUVs in India, production of Force Motors Gurkha was earlier stopped due to undisclosed reasons. Now according to reliable sources, Force Motors is expected to re-launch the Force Gurkha in the next six months, most likely with new OM611 CRDI Diesel engine under the hood. This tough SUV is based on the legendary Mercedes Benz G-Wagen’s platform and was one of the most preferred SUVs in India before its production was stopped.
It is said that the main reason behind the downfall of Force Motors Gurkha SUV was the absence of personal car dealership. However, due to this Force Gurkha buyers had to wait for six months since orders for the SUV were placed at commercial car dealership owner and from there Force Motor drivers used to drive the Force Gorkha directly to customer’s city for customer deliveries. It is worth mentioning that a brand new SUV being driven by unknown drivers more than thousand kilometers isn’t exactly how you expect from the company. Further with the news circulating about addition on OM611 CRDI Diesel engine created another blunder and off-road enthusiasts waited for the brand new engine with additional performance and amplified mileage.
But as per reports, Force Motors India stopped the production of Force Gorkha even before adding the new heart. As per updates, Prasan Abhay Firodia, MD Force Motors recently announced the re-launching of Force Gurkha soon. According to relevant sources, Force Gorkha is expected to come fitted with the powerful OM611 CRDI Diesel engine along with additional improvement to the overall fit and finish levels. Moreover, with Force Motors installing new passenger car sales and service division, off-road enthusiastic will now buy their favorite SUV with ease.
