Renault Koleos facelift unveiled ahead of its launch

Renault India is going to launch its new SUV Renault Koleos in India by October 2011. The design specifications for Renault Koleos have been released in India. The Front end of Renault Koleos has been completely redesigned giving it an elegant modern look. A single piece unit replaces the split grille. Revised Renault Koleos has projector like headlights that are relatively higher than the bonnet. Forward stance of the car remains the same and the waistline and roofline nicely complement the make.

Renault Koleos design is dominated by Korean looks as the car is manufactured in Korea. It is sold there as the Samsung QM5. Renault Koleos is basically the result of Renault-Nissan-Samsung collaboration. Renault governed the designing whereas Nissan monitored the engineering using the X-Trail’s platform as the base.

Renault Koleos features and specifications include a 2-litre 150bhp all-aluminum common-rail diesel engine with variable valve timing. Renault koleos has a very innovative interior that consists of incredibly comfortable rear seats. Renault Koleos do not offer any third row of seats so upcoming SUV Outlander, having seven seat configuration may pose a threat.
