Renault Modus hatchback confirmed for India

To make a mark in the Indian car market, a car manufacturer needs to launch a small car in the country and that is what Renault India is planning to do. Renault India will soon launch its small car, known as Renault Modus in India. In the beginning of 2011, Renault India mentioned that it has plans to launch about 5 cars in the country within the time frame of year and a half. Renault Koleos and Renault Fluence are already sizzling on the Indian roads. Now Renault Modus seems to be the next new car to hit the Indian roads.

Renault Modus have been spotted numerous times in India during its test runs. Internationally, Renault Modus is available in two variants globally, Renault Modus and Renault Grand Modus,the latter is not expected to be launched in the Indian car market. However, Renault Modus that is expected to be launched in the country soon will come in both diesel and petrol options. The petrol variant will have 1.2 litre of motors, whereas the diesel version will have 1.5 litre of dCi engine, which is also present in Renault Fluence.

Globally, Renault Modus has been given a 5 star review, which makes this hatchback absolutely terrific. Rumor has it that Renault Modus could be unveiled during the last week of October at the Indian Grand Prix to be held in Delhi. The pricing details of Renault Modus have not been revealed so far, but it is being said that the price of Renault Modus hatchback will be kept affordable and competitive.
