Rolls Royce Planning to Launch Customised Cars in India

The English luxury car maker, Rolls Royce that launched the Phantom Series II in the last quarter of 2012 in India has now said that there might also be customised editions of its cars in India. As per a senior company official,RR may roll out customised edtitions of its Phantom and Ghost models. The company is already selling it customised car in Middle East, RR also launched the Phantom Dragon edition in China and few other markets.
Company’s General Manager, Herfried Hasenoehrl who came to launch a dealership in Hyderabad said, "We want to be ready with the idea within the next two months. We are talking to professionals and designers. These discussions take some time as we want to ensure the quality of the product," When asked a bout the number of the customised vehicles, the company plans to launch in India, he replied, "The customised version can be of Phantom and Ghost series and may not be huge in number,"
"In India what we have seen in the past, since we really focused on this market, our customers have such high standards of taste that we need to get a little bit more into history," he added. After launching the dealership in Hyderbad, Rolls Royce now plans to launch two more dealerships in Chandigarh and Ahemdabad by middle of the year, Hasenoehrl said.
