According to Tata, the C-Cube concept, unveiled at a Microsoft Event in India, demonstrates its ‘advanced structural technology.’
Tata Motors has displayed a concept hatchback, the C-Cube, at the 2017 Future Decoded – a Microsoft event – in India today. For the uninitiated, the home-grown automaker entered into a strategic collaboration with Microsoft last week to co-develop cars with connected and personalised driving experiences. Also, the automaker revealed its sub-brand, Tamo, recently, which will have a sports car as its debut vehicle, with a public debut slated at the upcoming 87th Geneva Motor Show.
The Tata C-Cube demonstrates the automaker’s ‘advanced structural technology’. Tata highlighted in the release that the structural technologies showcased with the C-Cube will enable it to introduce ‘breakthrough products’ from Tamo. Apart from this there is no other information about this concept hatchback revealed as of now, as it was just a photo release!
Speaking of the design of the C-Cube concept, it is definitely a chic-looking two-door hatchback, perhaps based on the automaker’s Impact design philosophy. Now, let the wild guesses begin – the very obvious one is that it could be a possible future hatchback from the sub-brand Tamo. Or, we cannot deny that this design could spawn a premium hatchback in Tata Motors’ line-up, positioned above the popular Tiago, built to take on the likes of the Baleno, Elite i20, and others. However, things might get clearer at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Stay tuned to CarDekho for more updates.
