Suzuki Launches Ertiga Automatic in Indonesia

Suzuki has launched the automatic version of the Ertiga MPV in the Indonesian auto market. The automatic version of Suzuki Ertiga MPV is priced at Rp 173.8 million (around 9.6 lakhs) and goes up to Rp 185.8 million (around 10.26 lakh), all prices are on-road. However, the manual transmission version of the MPV is tagged at Rp 148 million (8.17 lakh) and Rp 174.8 million (around 9.65 lakh) for the top end.
The Ertiga MPV is being exported from India to the Indonesian market via CKD (completely knocked down) kits, which are assembled at the company's manufacturing unit in Jakarta. The Japanese auto-giant had displayed the Ertiga AT in Thailand in March, which became the second overseas place for the family van after the manual version of the car previewed in Indonesia last year. The Eritga MPV is powered by a K14B engine with VVT (variable valve timing) technology, which is capable of developing 95PS at 6,000 RPM and peak torque of 130Nm at 4,000 RPM. The engine is coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission.
The automatic version of Ertiga MPV comes equipped with a dual SRS airbags, ABS (Anti-lock braking system) with EBD (Electronic-Brake Distribution Force) and can seat seven passengers. The automatic version of the MPV comes with eight different color choices.
