Take a closer look at all the changes related to the exterior styling of the Tata Nexon facelift
Update (14/09/2023): The Tata Nexon facelift has finally been launched, with introductory prices starting at Rs 8.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Tata Nexon facelift has been revealed and will soon go on sale in India. The facelift is quite comprehensive, giving the subcompact SUV a completely fresh and more modern look inside-out. While we’ve explored its interior through images, let’s take a look at its exterior changes with a detailed gallery:
Up front, the Tata Nexon facelift is a whole new guy. The grille is now sleeker and sports a closed-off design. The split air dam setup acts as the conventional grille now, seen in ICE-powered cars. Our sharp-eyed readers might notice that the new Nexon bears a resemblance to the Tata Curvv.
The LED DRLs are now sharper and support the cool-looking welcome-light animation function.
The split LED headlamp setup is inspired by the Harrier EV, giving it a more futuristic appeal. Completing the fresh front fascia is the more aggressive looking bumper.
The side profile remains unchanged save for the new aerodynamically-styled 16-inch alloy wheels.
At the back, you’re greeted by the new connected LED tail lights with the ‘X’ light signature and they too are programmed for the welcome light animations.

The boot lid grows fatter after the redesign, carrying a touch of ruggedness.
The new bumper looks quirky, while housing the reverse lamp.
A cool visual element on the Tata Nexon facelift is the hidden rear wiper, tucked under the roof-integrated spoiler.
The facelifted Tata nexon comes in six colours options: Fearless Purple, Creative Ocean, Pure Grey, Flame Red, Daytona Grey, Pristine White.
Tata retains the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines with the Nexon facelift. The petrol engine can be opted in four transmission options - 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed DCT. The diesel engine gets 6-speed manual and AMT options.
Prices of the Tata Nexon facelift will be announced September 14, expected to start from around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival the likes of Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite and the Hyundai Venue. The Tata Nexon EV facelift will be launched alongside the ICE version and has already been revealed.
