Tata AutoComp and TRAD, Japan sign a MoU to set up R&D centre in India

Tata Toyo Radiators (Tata Toyo), joint Venture between Tata AutoComp Systems Limited, TRAD- Japan and Mitsubishi Metals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up state-of- the-art Research & Development (R&D) centre in Pune. The MoU was signed between Tata AutoComp and TRAD, Japan. The state-of-the-art R&D centre is aimed to develop better solutions for the Indian automotive market.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R S Thakur, MD & CEO of Tata AutoComp Systems Limited said, “Tata Toyo has always been the front runner in offering cutting edge heat exchange technologies to its customers. This R&D centre will further enhance the capabilities of Tata Toyo and help it serve its customers better. The aim is to ensure that technology that comes out of this R&D centre is that which is developed in India, for the customers in India.”

Tata Toyo Radiator Limited is a joint venture between Tata AutoComp Systems Limited, TRAD Japan and Mitsubishi Metals. Tata Toyo manufactures Aluminium based Radiators, Inter Coolers, Heater Cores and Exhaust Gas Recharge systems. The key customers of Tata Toyo include Ashok Leyland, Fiat, Force Motors, John Deer, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mahindra-Navistar, Man Force and Tata Motors amongst others.
