    Tata Launches Three New Dark Edition Models

    While the Altroz, Nexon, and Nexon EV have received Dark Edition variants for the first time, Tata has updated the Harrier’s version with a few cosmetic tweaks  

    • All Tata Dark Editions get blacked-out elements inside and out. 

    • The Harrier Dark Edition demands the highest premium of up to Rs 47,500, followed by the Nexon EV (up to Rs 43,000), and Altroz (Rs 31,000). 

    • The Dark Edition is available only with the top-end variants. 

    Tata has expanded its Dark Edition range to include the Altroz, Nexon, and Nexon EV. Tata has also taken this opportunity to update the Harrier’s Dark Edition with a few cosmetic tweaks. Bookings for these variants are now open across dealerships and many might even have it for display. 

    Tata Altroz Dark Edition

    The Altroz Dark Edition gets a Cosmo Dark shade with dark grey alloys, a dark chrome strip around the grille, and blacked-out ORVMs completing its all-black look. You can also spot the ‘Dark’ inscription on the fenders of all the cars. 

    Inside the cabin, it gets a Granite Black theme with gloss black applique and leatherette upholstery with blue inserts. The Altroz Dark Edition is based on the top-spec XZ+ variant, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, iRA connected car technology, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, rear AC vents, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a rear parking camera, dual front airbags, and automatic AC.

    Tata Nexon Dark Edition 

    The Nexon Dark Edition gets an Atlas Black shade, charcoal alloy wheels, silver surround for the grille, and silver skid plates. 

    The cabin gets an all-black theme with black leatherette seats and blue ‘Tri-Arrow’ inserts over the dashboard and door trims. As for the Nexon Dark Edition, it is available with XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O) and XZA+(O) variants, in both petrol and diesel options. 

    It features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electronic stability control (standard), electric sunroof, a digital dot matrix-type instrument cluster, dual front airbags, rear parking camera, automatic AC, and dual front airbags.

    Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition

    The Nexon EV gets a Midnight Black shade, charcoal grey alloy wheels, black chrome strips around the bumper, EV-specific blue inserts, and the ‘Dark’ inscription on the fenders. Even the Nexon badging has been blacked out in a dark chrome finish. 

    The cabin gets a glossy black theme for the dashboard, black leatherette seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and again, EV-specific blue highlights over the dashboard and seats. 

    The Dark Edition exclusively also gets a tyre pressure monitoring system. The XZ+ Dark variants gain 60:40 rear split seat, rear centre armrest with cupholders, and adjustable rear seat headrest from the XZ+ LUX variant. 

    The Nexon EV gets a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery with an electric motor rated at 129PS and 245Nm. It features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electronic stability control (standard), electric sunroof, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, regenerative braking, a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch screen, dual front airbags, rear parking camera, automatic AC, and dual front airbags.

    Tata Harrier Dark Edition

    Meanwhile, the Harrier Dark Edition has been updated with minor enhancements. The exterior is now finished in a different Oberon black shade, larger 18-inch alloy wheels, and darkened ‘Harrier’ inscription on the rear quarter glass.  

    The cabin gets a black chrome theme with black leatherette and blue highlighted seats. The Harrier Dark Edition, along with other models, also gets ‘Dark’ inscription imprinted on the headrests.
