Tata Motors Global sales grew by 1 per cent in March 2011

India's largest automobile company Tata Motors getting good response from overseas markets and reported 1 per cent in the month of March this year. The company sold out 110,785 units of Tata vehicles in March 2011 including its luxury Jaguar Land Rover cars. Meanwhile the total sales of the company is grew by 24 per cent with sales of 1,081,245 nos in this financial year (April 2010 to March 2011) against previous period in 2009-10. 


Jaguar XF


The company recorded 19 per cent growth in commercial vehicles with sales of 56,814 units on Global stage in March this year. And cumulative sales grew by 24 per cent with sales of 512,268 units in this fiscal.


Land Rover Discovery 3


Tata Motor is also doing well in passenger vehicles and sold 53,971 nos in March 2011 while it reported 24 per cent growth in the segment with sales of 568,976 nos. in this fiscal. Meanwhile the company sold 29,870 Fiat cars on global stage in March this year. The total sales of these passenger vehicles grew by 23 per cent in this fiscal year with sales units of 327,403 nos. 


Fiat Grande Punto


Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover in the month of March this year were 24,101 vehicles which is 2 per cent more than previous. This month Jaguar sold 3,772 nos. which 19 per cent lower, while Land Rover reported 8 per cent growth with sales of 20,329 units. The company sold 241,573 nos in this financial year which is 25 per cent higher than previous fiscal. On the other hand Cumulative sales of Jaguar vehicles were 52,993 nos. and reported 12 per cent growth, while Land Rover recorded 29 per cent cumulative growth with sales of 188,580 nos in this fiscal.
