Tata Motors is a noted name in India and the global market. The Indian manufacturer has made heart winning cars such as the popular “People's Car” Tata Nano. From bringing the country's cheapest to introducing the India's first crossover Tata Aria, Tata has done it all. Tata Motors, the auto giant is witnessing an all time high in the market. In the month of October the company recorded a growth of 22 per cent by selling as many as 24,476 units. With so much happening on the Tata's front, the company is planning to come with more aggressive approach to capture the market so as to expand in the market. In the view to capture the biggest and the most meaty chunk from the market, Tata is planing to revive its SUV Tata Sumo Victa. The true off road runner lost the battle against Mahindra Bolero. If the rumours are to be believed Tata Motors is planning to bet again with the old horse. From the Tata Motors group insider, it is being heard that the Tata Sumo Victa, the suave SUV lost because of its appeal to the customers and ordinary features. The SUV was designed to keep the family man in mind, but unfortunately it did not work in its favour. Now a days, Tata Sumo is more of taxi or a cab than standing in someone's porch. Tata Motors is planning to revamp the car from inside out. For instance, the cabin space will be more, with upgraded upholstery. The much advanced and better DICOR engine is also speculated. It is also anticipated that the front and end will be redefined like Land Rover. Tata Motors is also busy in giving few changes to Tata Safari. It is speculated that the new Tata Safari will be out in January 2011 and will be on the same lines of Tata Aria. The revamped model will have changes such as gearbox, suspension and steering wheel.
