2010 has been a remarkable year for not just carmakers but car buyers too. With a flood of launches, Indian buyers had more than what they could take, in terms of new cars. Nevertheless, car manufacturers kept bringing new and advanced looks and technology in the cars to lure the Indian buyers towards them.

Volkswagen Polo

Following the tradition of excellence, the stylish hatchback from Volkswagen made its way in Indian market on 5th Jan 2010. The car was shelved at a price tag of as low as Rs 4,53,606 - Rs 6,99,676 and the delivery triggered from March. Volkswagen Polo revolutionized the hatchback segment, bringing the 5 lac price bracket cars to India with German technology.

Maruti Eeco

The compact beauty launched on 7th of Jan 2010 in Auto Expo became the symbol of environment friendly and safe family car. Ford Figo

The car drove in the Indian Auto market on 25th Feb 2010 and won car of the year award. With this, Ford proved that it is going to be the ace in market. The car added to the boom in market and replaced the top positioned Maruti Alto with its high end technology.  The Ford Figo offers a mileage of around 14.5 to 15kmpl in the city while on the highway it delivers a mileage of 18.5 kmpl.

Hyundai Verna Transform

Launched on 23rd June 2010, Hyundai Verna Transform is creating wonders in Indian Auto market. Nissan Micra

Nissan took a big move in Indian automobile hatchback segment by bringing its all exciting Nissan Micra on 14th July 2010. The company introduced its diesel version on 10th December. BMW X1

The most awaited SUV, BMW X1 from German manufacturer, BMW made its way in India on 21st December 2010. BMW X1 is the cheapest SUV from the German auto maker.
