The First Full Throttle Trail by Tata Motors Wrapped Up in Ludhiana

The Indian auto giant Tata Motors organized its first Full Throttle Trail in Ludhiana in which 35 Tata vehicles participated. It was a half-day trail for the Tata SUV owners and involved maneuvering through rugged terrains and challenging routes of the track which was specifically prepared for this off-roading trail. The vehicles included were the 4x4 as well as 4x2 configurations of Tata Safari, Tata Aria, Tata Sumo Gold, Tata Xenon XT and Tata Sumo Grande. 

Tata Safari

The Regional Manager of PCBU North1 for Tata Motors Ltd., Mr. Anand Totla, expressed his delight on the enthusiastic participation of the Tata customers in this adventurous event from in and around Ludhiana. He mentioned that in addition to exhibition of the ruggedness and capability of the vehicles from the stable of Tata Motors, this off-roading activity also gave the customers an opportunity to experience the real fun of off-roading. He also informed that the track surface was customized so that the participants could make the most out of their vehicles in this first adventure sports activity by Tata. He added that the Tata Motors Full Throttle which is the motorsport division of the company has a vision for creating and cultivating the motorsports in India; the division would achieve this by providing the enthusiasts a platform through which they can experience their vehicle’s true capability and also learn, experience and discuss the thrill that accompanies motorsports.

Tata Safari

The Tata Motors Full Throttle Trail was conducted on track that was prepared on the banks of the Sutlej River which made the event all the more exciting and challenging. The track comprised of surfaces like bumpy courses, slush beds, sand beds and hills. A maximum time was stipulated in which the participants were supposed to complete the trail to qualify as the finishers. The Tata Motors Full Throttle which was launched in February this year, has planned 21 trails across the country for this year and each of these trails promises the exhibition of toughness, ruggedness, thrill and handling of the SUVs from Tata in the extreme off-roading conditions.  This motorsports division of the company has also launched Full Throttle banner known as Tata Motors Full Throttle Experience which is also a tour of off-roading extended over a number of days and the first one will begin in New Delhi on 22nd June 2012.
