The Venue is Hyundai’s second N Line model for India after the i20 hatchback
Hyundai has launched the Venue N Line in India, which is a performance-oriented version of the regular subcompact SUV. After the i20, the Venue is the second model to receive the N Line treatment.
Globally, ‘N’ models of Hyundai are full-blown performance-focused versions, but the N Line models introduced in India are just sporty-looking models with some tweaks.
So, here are the top five key differences between the Hyundai Venue N Line and the SUV’s turbocharged variants:
Variants And Price
N Line Variants |
Turbo Variants |
Difference |
N6 DCT - Rs 12.16 lakh |
S (O) DCT - Rs 10.98 lakh |
Rs 1.18 lakh |
N8 DCT - Rs 13.15 lakh |
SX (O) DCT - Rs 12.57 lakh |
Rs 58,000 |
The N Line’s N8 variant is based on the top-spec SX (O) variant, while the N6 is based on the mid-spec S(O). The N6 variant attracts a premium of Rs 1.18 lakh for a bunch of added features.
Exterior Differences
If you take the Venue N Line’s exclusive Thunder Blue with Phantom Black shade, that will be the biggest differentiator from the regular Venue. Besides this N Line specific shade, you also have the regular model’s Polar White and Shadow Grey shades with the option of a black roof. The regular variants of the SUV can further be had with Fiery Red, Phantom Black, Typhoon Silver and Denim Blue shades.
Up front, the Venue N Line gets a tweaked grille and a redesigned front bumper. You have the new N Line specific 16-inch dual-tone alloys with the ‘N’ logo. At the back, there are no changes save for the dual-tip exhaust muffler. The red accents all over the exterior are also specific to this model.
Interior Differences
The cabin of the Venue N Line carries the same layout but with a different theme. The sportier Venue sports an all-black shade with red accents on the dashboard, centre console, gear lever, and leather seats.
As for the regular turbo variants, the cabin has a dual-tone black and greige theme with leatherette (leather+fabric) seats. Hyundai also offers the N Line specific steering wheel, DCT gear lever and aluminium pedals among other changes.

New Features
The N6 variant gets many feature additions over the regular Venue’s S(O) variant in the form of a sunroof, wireless charger, automatic AC, remote engine start-stop (with key), puddle lamps, and a cooled glovebox. As for the top-spec N8 variant, it just features rear disc brakes and a Hyundai-first dashcam with dual cameras.
Besides this, the Venue N Line shares features like automatic LED projector headlamps, six airbags, a rear parking camera, ESC with hill-start assist, an eight-inch touchscreen system with Blue Link technology, powered driver seat, auto air purifier and paddle shifters.
Driving-related Changes
The Venue N Line continues with the turbo variants’ 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine. While the regular turbo variants can be had with a six-speed iMT (clutchless manual) and a seven-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic), the N Line only gets the automatic transmission.
For a more engaging drive experience, the Venue N Line gets a stiffer suspension, heavier steering and disc brakes all-round as standard.
