This week is certainly going to be written in the history of Indian car market, and the reason has been the launch of the most awaited car of the recent times, Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 at an exciting price of Rs 2.44 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), which promises to return best-in-class mileage of 22.74kmpl . The other two huge launches were the all new Tata Safari Storme and Mahindra SsangYong Rexton.
Then there have been some other big launches including Tata Manza Club class, New Ford Figo, Honda Brio AT, Toyota Fortuner TRD sportivo limited edition, World's largest Monocoque, Van Force Traveller- 26 seater and last but not the least Price cut version of Mitsubishi Pajero. We also cracked the launch date of the upcoming Chevrolet Spark facelift, it's finally launching on 25th October unlike many were claiming it to come on 15th October. Volkswagen that had phased out the Polo 1.6-litre petrol some days back, is likely to launch the 1.2-litre highline version in replacement soon in India, as the same car was spotted doing test runs in India this week.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Launched Finally at Rs 2.44 lakh
Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is finally here, the giant rolled out the most awaited vehicle of the year in a total 3 variants namely Alto 800 Std, Alto 800 LX and Alto 800 LXi priced at Rs 2.44 lakh, 2.76 lakh and 2.99 lakh respectively. Moreover, three CNG variant were also launched at Rs 3.19 lakh, 3.37 lakh and 3.56 lakh. Whereas, the Petrol version promises to return best-in-class mileage of 22.74kmpl, CNG variant offer the outstanding 30.26kmpl of mileage.
