Toyata expects to remain major player in MUV segmen

Leading car manufacturer Toyota Kirloskar Motor is expecting to remain a major player in MUV segment despit the recession. Although all the major players of this segmant suffring from steep fall in sales. Company sold 44,000 units of MUV's in india during year 2008.

According to Mr Venkat Krishnan Deputy General Manager, Sales, Toyota Kirloskar Motor the MUV market is getting redifined and the trend of buying MUVs is increasing because of their multy utility compare to sedans.

After the launch of some most popular models in india like Qualis ,the company has increased its market share from 28% in 2008 to 36% in last year.
