Toyota Fortuner AT in pipe line

Toyota Fortuner a popular luxury SUV by Toyota would be blessed with Automatic Transmission. As per media reports that Toyota is planing to launch 2011 version of this popular SUV very soon. Along with this launch the rumours are doing the rounds that new Toyota Fortuner will be equipped with 4 speed Auto Transmission gearbox and more Innovative features than the present version.
 
There is no conformation by the company but it is expected that this new beast would touch Indian soil after the launch of Toyota Etios Liva which is most awaited hatch in the domestic market. Presently this diesel hatch is under production and would be launched by the second half or end of next year.
 
Toyota India includes all segment cars in its stable like Toyota Etios which gives stiff competition with Maruti Swift Dzire and Tata Indica V2, Toyota Innova which is an answer to Chevrolet Tavera and Tata New Safari, Toyota Corolla Altis is against Honda City, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Toyota Land Cruiser which are the major competitor of BMW and Audi cars, Toyota Prius which is a superb performer sedan in the segment meanwhile Toyota Camry is innovative luxury sedan in the domestic auto market.
 
It is expected that this 2011 Toyota Fortuner Automatic could be INR 31 Lakhs. And major innovative features which would be available in sedan are LED Tail Lights, new Front Grille, Xenon Head Lamps, Sunroof, new Head Unit for the ICE with IPOD support, Ambient Lighting in the cabin, Minor Tweaks on the suspension for a better ride and Rain Sensing Wipers along with 4 Speed Auto Transmission. As per reliable sources this new super performer SUV would finally be unveiled after just launch of Toyota's hatch.
