Toyota Showcases 10 seater Hiace; Launch in Mid 2015

At the 4th Bus and Special Vehicle Show, Toyota Kirloskar Motor showcased its new luxurious commuter vehicle Hiace. The car was first showcased at the last year's auto expo where it was appreciated by visitors and seeing the favorable anticipation, the automaker has now announced that the vehicle will be launched in early second half of 2015.

Hiace comes with a seating capacity for 10 passengers (including driver) in a configuration of 4 rows. The van features comfortable seats with recline option, rear A/C vents, audio system with 6 Speakers and USB connectivity. The safety of the vehicle is enhanced by dual front SRS airbags, ABS, rear parking camera, Rear Window Defogger and Illuminated Entry System.

Powering this spacious vehicle is a 3.0-litre, 2,982cc diesel engine which churns a max power of 134bhp at 3,400rpm and peak torque of 300Nm at 1,200-2,400rpm. The engine is mated to 4 speed Automatic transmission.
