Our heritage is rooted in adventure, exploration and a desire to go above and beyond, and nothing embodies this spirit of discovery more than a trip to space."
The British carmaker announced the competition through a small film, featuring Virgin's boss Sir Richard Branson, English adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes and its global brand ambassador Bear Grylls. In collaboration with Virgin, Land Rover's Galactic Discovery is the first-ever competition, that offers a trip to space that too with your gang. The winners will be among the first pioneering travelers to visit space and experience out-of-seat zero gravity.

Over the next four months, the company will be covering 40 countries around the world to launch the New Discovery Sport, as-well-as to seek out the winners for the contest. The campaign will culminate in December, with the announcement of four lucky visitors to the space.
