Volkswagen bestowed with two Gold awards

Volkswagen, the German auto manufacturer had been bestowed with two Gold, out of the total 6 awards received by them at Emvies 2011 that was held on Friday, August 26, this year. Volkswagen had been awarded for the best integrated media campaign held for the Volkswagen Brand and the other the Grand Emvie for the best Print media Innovation award for Vento talking newspaper. The Emvies awards are held for recognizing the best media campaigns held in the Indian media industry.

Mr Lutz Kothe, the Head of Marketing and PR is reported to have told the press that it is a very special moment for the Volkswagen Group and the achievement would not have been possible without the support from their media partners Mediacom. However, now for the Silver award for the best media campaign is awarded to Consumer Durables brand and two Bronze awards for Best Media innovation out of Home category for New Polo and the other for Race Polo events.
