As per our sources, the Volkswagen e-Up specifications reveal that Volkswagen India has tried to give a new look to the Volkswagen e-Up. The Volkswagen e-Up is based on Volkswagen Up platform and most of its design is same as Volkswagen Up. But the company has given it an arc shaped layout of LED daytime running lights.

The main competitor of the Volkswagen e-Up is Chevrolet Beat EV which not a concept now and can go for production anytime. The Chevrolet Beat EV produces a power of 60 HP and can travel only up to 130 km which would be less than the Volkswagen e-Up’s target. But Chevrolet Beat is a successful platform as compared to the Volkswagen Up platform. This can be a challenge for Volkswagen e-Up in the field of competition. Chevrolet Beat EV has not arrived in India yet and Volkswagen Up petrol/diesel version is about to come in the end of this year or next year. The electric version is far from launch in India.
