Volkswagen Tiguan Compact SUV Spotted in India

Volkswagen that sells its Compact Crossover , the Tiguan in many international markets, has now been caught in India. The vehicle was caught by an Autocar India reader, while returning from his workplace On NH-6 near bally, Hoggly district, West Bengal; however, it’s still unclear whether the vehicle is an India bound or just for the export purpose to be delivered to Bhutan or Nepal.
Since the Tiguan is a global product, so we can expect the vehicle to come in the Indian market as well, which already has Renault Duster and soon there will be Ford EcoSport, both of which are sold globally. One of the pictures has the 2.0 TDI badging on the rear, which means that the vehicle will have a mighty diesel engine in the markets that demand diesel powered cars, although a 2.0-litre diesel engine in India for a compact SUV would come or not, is still unclear.
