The festive season is already underway, and automakers are rolling out new editions and attractive festive benefits on their models. Volkswagen has now joined the same bandwagon with the Volksfest 2023, introducing new features on the Volkswagen Virtus and Volkswagen Taigun as well as festive service benefits for its model range. The Volksfest begins today and will run until November 15, 2023.
New Features
The Virtus and Taigun now get powered seat adjustments for both the driver and co-driver, along with footwell illumination. These new features are available with the top-spec Topline and GT Plus variants for both models. Additionally, the latter is also equipped with an upgraded audio system with a subwoofer and amplifier. You can find their prices detailed in the table below.

While the variants listed in the table include a subwoofer and amplifier, it's important to note that the electric seat version of both models comes at an additional cost. For the Virtus with electric seats, customers will need to pay to Rs 32,000 more, while the electric seat version of the Taigun carries an additional cost of up to Rs 36,000.

Full Prices For The Virtus Matte Edition
Volkswagen had previously unveiled the new GT Plus Edge variants of the Virtus in two new shades: Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Steel Grey - Matte. While we were already aware of the prices for the Deep Black Pearl colors, Volkswagen has now also disclosed the full prices for its matte edition as well, which you can buy from today onwards.

Festive Offers On Services
During the Volksfest 2023, the automaker is also offering benefits on car services like free vehicle check-up, free pick-up and drop facility for limited kilometres, and door-step services. Customers can also save on service value packs, renewal of extended warranty and roadside assistance and replacement of tyres, all offered at a special cost in this period.
Price Range & Rivals
The Volkswagen Virtus is now priced from Rs 11.48 lakh to Rs 19.29 lakh. It takes on the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Ciaz. The Taigun, on the other hand ranges from Rs 11.62 lakh and now goes till Rs 19.76 lakh. It rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Citroen C3 Aircross, Honda Elevate, and MG Astor.
