Volvo Cars opens new dealership in Chandigarh

Further expanding its footprint in the Indian market, Volvo Cars India has opened another dealership in the city of Chandigarh. The new showroom, Krishna Auto Sales, is located in the Business Block, Elante Mall, Chandigarh. Spread over an area of 2200 sq ft, the showroom exudes true Scandinavian ambience. It is located in the Industrial Area, Phase 2 behind LTS Hotel.

At the occasion, Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India stated, “Buoyed by our increased acceptability among our valued customers in the last 2-3 years, we are now looking at further strengthening our foothold and expanding our reach in the Indian market. With the all new Volvo Retail Experience at the Chandigarh showroom, we have moved yet another step closer to our customers.”

The owner of the showroom, Sumit Passi, is from Krishna Group, which has been in the automobile business since the year 1967. The group has already owned dealerships of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, JCB Earth Moving Equipment, Honda 2-wheelers, Skoda Auto Passenger Cars, BMW Passenger Cars and other premium passenger cars. With a ‘Cool on the outside’ and ‘Warm on the inside’ feel, it is a modern and contemporary looking showroom having an ‘inviting interior design’.
