Volvo S60 to launch tomorrow with price range from Rs 30 to Rs 34 lakh

Volvo S60 will be launched tomorrow with an expected price tag of Rs 30 lakh to Rs 34 lakh. Swedish car maker Volvos' first entry of the year Volvo S60, is highly speculated to be launched in two variants. As per the reports the luxury car will be available both in diesel (D5) powertrain and in petrol (T6 turbo) engine. The auto experts are betting that the price range will be between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 34 lakh.

Volvo S60 is the cheapest car rendered from the Swedish auto giant which will enter in the domestic auto market adorned with advanced and sophiscated safety features. The price range of Volvo S60 diesel will gun against the likes such as Audi A4 3.0 TDI and BMW 320D. While the Volvo S60 petrol variant will fight against Audi A4 3.2 and BMW 330i.

As per the reports available T6 twin-turbo petrol powertarin will be affixed with six cylinder powertrain having a capacity of generating maximum power of 304 bhp at 5600 rpm and peak torque of 44.6 kgm at 2100 rpm. The petrol version of Volvo S60 is the exclusive turbo car which possess six cylinder pot in the respective luxury segment. In 6.5 seconds the premium luxury car can speed upto 0-100 km and can accelerate the top speed to 250 km in an hour.

While Volvo S60 D5 twin-turbo 2.4 liter diesel powertrain is capable of delivering peak power of 205 bhp at 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 42 kgm at 1500-3240 rpm. Only in 7.8 seconds the diesel Volvo S60 can race upto 0 to 100 kmph accelerating a top speed of 230 kmph.
