Volvo XC60 to come with excellent feature of automatic Braking

The marketing for Volvo XC60 SUV by Volvo India is on its peak. The company is going to launch this car by 24th of this month. This new upcoming crossover will get a laser assisted braking which will be capable to sense a collision upto 50 mph and apply brakes automatically.
The Volvo XC 60 will have a pedestrian dection system and high tech auto brake system which works together ensuring that the pedestrian is not hurt. This system uses radar and camera and alerts the driver if a pedestrian is ahead.This technology was earlier introduced in S60. This function helps the driver to detect the dangerous situations thereby providing a safer drive.
Along with automatic braking system Volvo XC60 has got many other safety features like Lane departure warning (LDW), Active Bending Lights (ABL), Trailer Stability Assist (TSA), Hydrolic Brake Assist (HAB), Ready Alert Brakes (RAB), Intelligent Driver Information System etc giving a safe riding pleasure to its user.

This exciting SUV will have optional Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Warning with auto brake and Driver Alert Control (DAC) .This four wheel drive crossover will come in both diesel and petrol variants. Petrol engine will come in six cylinder 3.0 litre T6 engince capacity with 285 brake horse power (bhp) and 40.5 kgm whereas the diesel variant will have a 2.4 litre six cylinder turbo-charged D5 engine offering 175 bhp. Pick up and acceleration of XC60 is excellent and can reach 100 kph in just seven seconds. Alloy wheels of 18 inches with silver spokes make this car more stylish. This SUV will be on display in Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai.

XC60 is loaded with features that will attract the buyers for sure. The price range of this car would be revealed after its launch in Autocar Performance Show at Mumbai. Presently Volvo is in the domestic market with its premium sedan Volvo S 80 and SUV Volvo XC 90. One more addition to Volvo India would make it more stable and competitive in the domestic. Volvo is also expected to come with its premium sedan Volvo S 60 by the end of next year in India.
