Jeep Avenger

Latest Update: The Avenger could be Jeep’s first electric SUV in India.

Launch: It is expected to arrive in India by January 2025.

Price: Jeep could price the Avenger from Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Battery, Electric Motor, and Range: It has a 54kWh battery pack with an electric motor rated to produce 156PS and 260Nm, powering the front wheels. The electric SUV gets a WLTP-claimed range of 400km in the combined cycle, and up to 500km in the urban cycle.

Charging: Using a 100kW fast charger, you can juice up the electric SUV from 20 to 80 per cent in 24 minutes. There is also the option of an 11kW AC charger, which completely refills its battery in around 5.5 hours.

Features: Features on board the Avenger include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with connected car technology and a digital driver’s display that is offered in two sizes, seven- or 10.25-inch. The electric SUV also gets power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, multicolour ambient lighting and powered tailgate.

Safety: On the safety front, it gets a full suite of ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) that includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind spot monitoring, auto emergency braking and drowsy driver alert. Furthermore, it comes with a 360-degree camera, with a 180-degree rear-view camera with drone view.

Rivals: It will be a rival to the Volvo XC40 Recharge.
