Kia EV6

The Kia EV6 facelift has been launched in India The 2025 EV6 continues to be a fully-imported model, and is available in a single fully-loaded variant priced at Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). A spaceship-like design, large boot, ample space and a loaded feature package makes this Kia electric car a very unique page. Here’s a quick overview of the new Kia EV6. 

• Kia's electric car now has a slightly updated front end design.

• From the front, the most noticeable change is the new headlamp setup that has a unique design and lighting signature. 

• The only notable change to the side are the new 19-inch alloy wheels.

• The rear remains more or less the same with the connected LED light bar. 

• It retains signature design details such as the hidden charging flap, flush-fitting door handles and the unique spoiler with small puddle lamps.  

• Kia EV6 2025 colour options include: Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Runway Red, Yacht Blue Matte, and Wolf Gray.

• The cabin of the EV6 2025 remains more or less unchanged. It continues to be finished in an all-black theme with some silver and grey accents. 

• The primary visual change is the curved twin 12.3-inch displays for the touchscreen and instrument cluster.  

• Kia has also changed the design of the steering wheel: it now features a new three-spoke design with an offset logo.

• Other elements such as the large central floor console, touch-panel for the climate control/audio system and the rotary knob for the drive selector remain unchanged.  

• Rear seat space is expected to be unchanged compared to the outgoing model. 

Features  

• The feature list on the EV6 facelift covers all that you’d expect from a vehicle that costs as much: passive keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, electric sunroof, wireless charging, and front seat ventilation.  

• The infotainment package includes a new 12.3-inch touchscreen which now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This is paired with a 14-speaker Meridian audio system.  

• It gets a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display which also relays the video feed from the side cameras when you indicate. 

• Other highlights include an augmented reality head-up display, 10-way powered front seats, and a powered tail gate. 

• Safety features on the Kia EV6 facelift include: 8 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ISOFIX child seat mounts and tyre pressure monitoring system. 

• It also features Level 2 ADAS system that has adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane keep assist and rear cross traffic alert.  

• The 2022 model of the Kia EV6 scored a 5 star rating in the Euro NCAP crash test. We expect the updated model to get a similar score.

• The EV6 has a boot space of 490-litres

• It also features a 52-litre frunk that can be used to store smaller bags.

• The 2025 Kia EV6 is available with a single powertrain option:

• Kia claims the EV6 will clock 100kmph in 5.3 seconds.  

• It is capable of ultra-fast charging. 10-80% can be done in 18 minutes with a 350kW charger. 

• The EV6 2025 is available in a single ‘GT-Line’ variant, with all-wheel drive (AWD) as standard.

• Notably, Kia used to offer a lower priced RWD variant on the earlier model. It has been discontinued.
