What features does the Kia EV9 get? 

The KIa EV9 has been loaded to the brim with features. It includes two 12.3-inch touchscreens (infotainment and driver’s display), a 5.3-inch display for the climate controls, and an 11-inch head-up display (HUD). This EV also comes with two single pane sunroofs for the first and second row, digital IRVM (inside rearview mirror), and a 3-zone automatic AC. It also gets a relaxation feature for first and second-row seats with leg support. The seats also come with a heating and ventilation function. 

What is the battery pack capacity and the range? 

The India-spec version of the Kia EV9 comes with a 99.8 kWh battery pack. It comes mated to either an all-wheel-drive (AWD) electric motor which makes 384 PS and 700 Nm. It offers a claimed range of up to 561 km.

Kia’s flagship electric SUV supports up to 350 kW DC fast charging, enabling its battery pack to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes.

How safe is the Kia EV9?

The Kia EV9 was tested by Euro NCAP and Australian NCAP where it scored a 5-star crash safety rating. The safety suite of this EV comprises 10 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a hill start assist. It also gets a full suite of level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with features such as forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
