Latest Update: Lexus has launched the fifth-generation RX SUV in India.

Price: The luxury SUV is priced from Rs 95.80 lakh to Rs 1.18 crore (ex-showroom, pan-India).

Variants: The Lexus RX is available in two variants: 350h and 500h F Sport Performance.

Engine and Transmission: It comes with two strong hybrid petrol engine options: a 2.5-litre in-line four petrol strong hybrid powertrain making 250PS (combined) and 242Nm, and a 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol strong hybrid unit making 371PS (combined) and 460Nm. The former is paired with a CVT and can be had in both all-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive systems, the latter comes with a six-speed automatic transmission in an all-wheel drivetrain only.

The former can go from nought to 100 in 7.9 seconds, while the latter can do it in 6.2 seconds.

Features: Features on board the RX include a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a heads-up display, a 21-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, heated and ventilated front seats, ventilated rear seats (except for the rear passenger) and three-zone automatic climate control.

Safety: On the safety front, it gets seven airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control (VSC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like lane keep assist and departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

Rivals: The Lexus RS squares off against the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Audi Q7 and Land Rover Discovery.

Lexus RX Facelift Is Great
My uncle had recently bought the new Lexus RX facelift version and to be honest, I think it's good that Lexus decided to give RX a make 9ver change. But I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the new Lexus RX as the new colour option and style makes it stand out and on the top in the segment. He bought the 350h luxury variant from Kolkata at a price of one crore in red mic colour and it looks super astonishing and beautiful. The five-seater SUV range feels more like six seater as not just two rows but every seat is classy and spacious.

Lexus RX Has A Plenty Of Storage Space
Lexus RX There is plenty of storage space inside as well, and a cool feature is the centre console box that can open on either side thanks to hinges on both the driver and passenger sides. Speaking about space, there is excellent space for passengers everywhere. More legroom and headroom are made possible by the increased wheelbase; even at 5 feet 8 inches tall, I had adequate space.
