- Awesome car performanceMahindra Verito looks awesome, from both interior and exterior. its electric variant is low power as compared with other variants. But it is very cheaper as compared with even two-wheelers.it is more comfortable to ride because of automatic gears more safety with airbags and economically this car is the best car. But better to improve its power. Exterior, Decent looks for the car, looks good from Side and back I have a walnut brown color car with body graphics and alloy wheels, they suit the car very much, just love the car...I find the looks are good Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Just wow....when I talk about driving comfort, space in offer...we get very good leg space for both front and back seat passengers, seats are designed very well to give you a very very comfortable ride for long drives, So far I have driven around 350KM after purchase and longest I drove was 60 KM and throughout this I did not feel tired, or uncomfortable while driving & my height is 6ft 1 Inches. The back seat passengers also get good comfortable seating & headrest. I can easily say that this is one of the very few cars which has comfortable seating space for 3 adults in the back seat. Suspensions are best in the class, you just don't feel the bad roads, shocks get absorbed very well. If I don't tell about AC then I might not be writing the review properly, for AC I have just one word, mindblowing..... I have not seen the immediate cooling effect in my old swift, or any other MS cars...This one is amazing, hats off to the performance of the AC. Feeling hot switch the AC on and it obliges you by cooling the cabin within a fraction of second Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Well....1.5DCI Renault engine is amazingly tuned for both city and long drives.....There is minimal turbo lag in 1st gear...guess that very common in diesel cars...But if all the gears are changed within the span 1000-2000RPM this machine is very smooth to drive. Otherwise also this Renault engine is very powerful.....I like the vehicles pulling capacity in 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th gear a lot... I just enjoy the drive-in these gears, Since this vehicle as good pull in all the gears, frequent gear shifting is not required. Till now I recollect of maximum gear change till 2nd gear when speed breaker comes or bad road comes. I put 1st gear only when I start from the stationary position. I never got a feeling that I am driving 66BHP engine....reason being the engines amazing pulling capacity with or without AC Gear change ratio is good, since you don't need to shift gear downwards frequently I am sure the person driving will love to drive this car Fuel Economy not measured completely, but what I can see from odometer is 15-16 on an average for city driving with AC, but I have to check the mileage accurately using the full tank to full tank theory. I am sure will get the accurate reading at that time. I am expecting it to be around 19-20 in the city with the new measuring technique Ride Quality & Handling After writing all this review guess it is understood that this section also will be amazing in the car, and yes that's correct, ride quality and handling is one of the best in class Final Words I would just recommend this car to my friends & family members, I have made the best choice by purchasing this car area of improvement Only in terms of features.... Well...very less as this variant comes with most of the features, but 2nd airbag, tilt steering, audio and Bluetooth control on steering wheel, etc......but these all are just luxuries features all bare basic safety features such as ABS, Driver Airbag are there in the vehicle.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Mahindra Verito - A Value For Money CarSo, I have been using the Mahindra Verito since last 5 years and I have to say that it's been a great experience with the vehicle. The car is spacious, has a boxy style statement and accommodates 5 passengers very comfortably. Just two years back, I don't have any plans to buy my amazing Mahindra Verito. I only decided to buy a sedan that has all the features, powerful engine along with good mileage and eye catchy looks. The car that topped the list was Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Tata Zest, I reached the showroom to test drive both the cars. My search for the perfect car was still on and accidently I came across the astonishing Mahindra Verito at my friends place. At that time only I made up my mind and booked the new Verito the next day. The dealer at the showroom was very co-operative, he helped me a lot till all the paper work is complete. After the waiting period, Verito came to our home and I feel very proud to make that choice. Till date I don;t have any complain with the car and it runs very smooth. Outside, the car have multiple element headlamps and Skoda like chrome radiator grille, sporty bumper and large air dams that provide the car an aggressive look. Inside the cabin, though Verito is not as plush as other cars we have today in the market, however, the interiors are sufficient enough to impress anyone. The oodles of comfort and richness come from the features such as stylish AC vents, AUX-in, USB and 2-DIN audio console. The car doesn't have steering adjustment and seat height adjustment which is something a must if you are spending around Rs. 8 lakhs for a car. However, the compensating factor can be seen in ample space provided at the rear. Three adult passengers can sit comfortably with a plethora of leg room. There are lots of storage spaces across the vehicle which definitely makes it a pragmatic vehicle among its class. And what makes it more special is the excellent fuel economy. Though Mahindra claims fuel economy of 21kmpl, in real world, you can very well get above 17kmpl in mix driving conditions. In terms of power, it's a 76PS engine and more than sufficient for driving in city as well as moderate cruising on highways. And maintaining the vehicle is also not tough since Mahindra has excellent service network across the country. Overall, it's not a perfect vehicle but certainly a good one for those who sees strength, mileage and reliability as their top priority.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Mahindra VeritoI have the Verito 2012, it has been now 110000 km and this lovely machine not asked me for a single penny except the regular check ups. On the highway, I usually get the average of 23 to 25 km and in city 19 to 22 km. Mahindra Verito fulfils all your requirements whether fuel economy, durability, sturdiness, sedan car, exterior looks or so on. Now only if you think of silly amenities like Bluetooth, steering mounted audio controls, rear AC vents, double blower etc, you find this awesome vehicle less than ur expectation. Areas of improvement - clutch should be more smooth and light right from 1st-kilometre driving. Apart from these, one or two bottle space need to be incorporated in interiors. Only because it looks boxy in comparison to Dzire / Manza / Sunny etc, people do not want to buy this car. This is the safest car, regarding look yes it is not much but overall it is awesome. One thing I will suggest please go for extended insurance because many major parts are covered in that. Overall this vehicle is value for money.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- A car with Good looks in budgetMahindra Verito is our family car. I'm writing this review after using it for last 4 years. In 2012, we bought a brand new Verito. To make this review more helpful, i want to tell why we needed a car and what were our expectations from a car and all that ...We are a farmer family. My farm is about 120 kms far from my home , my father often visit there so we need a vehicle which is fast in speed, durable and most importantly which fits in our budget. Before Mahindra Verito we owned TATA Indica car. We live in Thar Desert area of Rajasthan, where roads are not that much developed and often we travel by sandy paths and gravel roads. Hence we need a car with powerful engine. Keeping in mind all these things we had some options before us in cars like those of some models of different companies. Verito was one of best cars which meet our needs. Now coming to the review...After 4 years of experience, I rate this car 3/5 as Good. Here are some Pros and Cons...Engine Performance: Engine is working perfectly even after 4 years and about 1 lac kms of driving. With timely changing oil the gear box and engine caused negligible maitenance cost. It gives feel of power in hand after second gear with quick response to acceleration. Break and clutch padels are woking efficiently and smoothly. Gear shifting is also very smooth experience I never faced my problem in this. I was driving TATA Indica before this car and can say that after driving this car it feels like to drive any luxury car above 10 lac of price. Interiors:The beautiful interiors of Verito is like that of any luxury cars. Switches of wipers, indicators, head lamp are working properly. There are specially designed two glass holders. Air conditioner (both hot and cold) is doing well. Important thing is the interior is spacious. I'm above 6 feet tall and i can sit comfortly on rear and front seats. Seats are comfortable and adjustable.Digital watch, Digital Odometer, Digital fuel and temperature indiactors are working well.Handling:After approx 1 lac kilometers of riding the handling of car is still easy and smooth. The power stearing is working excellent. No issue till now. Exterior:The color is still like new , no signs of fading. The shining is still there. After wash it looks shine and bright. Apart from this the look of this car is very attractive. In my opinion the look is best in class which feels like luxury.Ride quality:Here is one negataive point. The chasis of car started a little sound when drive on highway. Apart from this other things are good. On gravel roads rider dont feel any discomfort. Final words:My experience with Verito is satisfactory. Although there are no rear ac vents, bluetooths etc. But its ok. I don't need them at all. In this price segment the sedan like Verito is the best car. Thank you.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Economical CompanianThe Mahindra Verito has been around for quite a while. Of course, it began life as the Logan. But since Renault isn't involved anymore, Mahindra is working on Indianising the Logan, starting with a new name, Verito. This is the second iteration on the evolving Verito. In the last round, Mahindra had done little more than change the badges and toss in some minor tweaks. This time however, it's done a bit more homework. This facelift is far more comprehensive. Starting with a generous helping of chrome slapped on to the front And no, the Verito hasn't been driven into the front of the new Xylo. But the grille does seem to be based on the Xylo's. Along with this, you get redesigned headlamps and front bumper. We're not complaining, the overall effect is good. The rear too has new lights and a new bumper. But the biggest change is the moving of the license plate from the bumper to the bootlid. It helps break up the mass and gives the Verito a more contemporary look. Apart from this, there are new alloy wheels and roof rails. We think roof rails look good only on hatchbacks and station wagons, though. But the best part of this facelift is the things that haven't changed. Mahindra knew it had a product with solid underpinnings, so it didn't go overboard by fixing things that weren't broken. So you get the same extremely fuel-efficient 1.5-litre DCi motor and that suspension that pretty much soaks up everything. Okay, so the motor only puts out 65bhp and 160Nm of torque These figures may seem paltry on paper, but in the real world, the Verito is light on its feet, especially in the city. The motor pulls cleanly, and past 1500rpm, throttle responses are pretty good. You won't feel the need for horses in traffic, but out on the highway with a full load, you need to play with the gearbox to extract performance. Zero-100kph comes up in 14.9seconds and it is rated for a top speed of 160kph, which is just about respectable. But you can't escape the fact that the competition sports better figures, especially in the engine department. But the Verito hits back with shattering fuel economy figures. It'll return 13.8kpl in the city and 18.5kpl out on the highway. For a car this big, that's are pretty good. Suspension sees virtually no change, so the Verito has no problems with bad roads. Most bumps are filtered out with ease and high-speed stability is pretty good too. The steering provides decent feedback, but feels a touch light as the speeds rise. It turns in well and grip levels are good. Road manners are much like what you'd expect of a European saloon. And we didn't find much reason to complain about the Verito's dynamics. On the inside, you can see Mahindra's been busy. The new colour schemes look a lot better than the earlier dull beige. Ergonomics are better too, with the power window switches finding their rightful place in the doorpads. You get a new centre console and a stereo system borrowed from the Xylo. Plastic quality also sees a slight improvement. Older strengths like the large, comfortable cabin remain. These little changes make the Verito much easier to live with. On our top-end D6 variant, you get a decent equipment list, with driver airbag, ABS, stereo, remote locking, electric mirror, apart from the regulars. You need to shell out Rs 7.10lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the top-end D6. Prices for the base petrol start at a value-for-money Rs 5.17lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Compared to the DZire ZDi, the Verito D6 is cheaper by Rs 50,000. The Tata Manza Aura, the Verito's natural rival, also retails for Rs 7.10 lakh. For that money, the Manza gets a more powerful engine and roomy interiors. The Verito was very capable to begin with and with the latest round of changes, it is that much better. But in light of the competition, especially from the Manza, the Verito needs to up its game further.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo

Driving is comfortable. I found it is much better than competitors. Three persons can be comfortable in rear seat. Suspension- Not great. Noise inside the car- Bad. Chassis vibration and noise- Poor. Air conditioning- Okay, not so good.Control and stability- Very good although Steering is not so smooth. Night drive- Light and focus- Average. Needs lot of improvement.Boot space is much more than you require.Maintenance cost- High.Maintenance Support in Pune- Pathetic- Reliability and diagnostic skill are issues. No check-up by service provider after repairs/service. It's your luck.Maintenance Support in Vapi- ExcellentMaintenance Support in Mumbai- Average- Diagnostic skill is a issue.Major problem- Sensor failure. No solution. Just pay from your pocket. You will always face problems in mechanism of door locking and window operation.Spares cost- Very High- One nozzle costs you Rs. 24000. Ideally it should not go bad. But it do fail. Be prepared to shell out Rs. 1Lac if your service provider asks you to change all four of them. Resale value- Very Low.Effective On Road Operating Cost inclusive of all expenses with consideration of resale cost is approximately- Rs. 14 per km after using it for 64000 km. If your usage is less around 625-650 km per month the same cost will be Rs. 25 per km.Recommendation- Personal usage- Buy if you have monthly travel of 2000 km. Avoid if it is less than 1500 km per month.Travel business- It's one of the good choice.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Mahindra Verito : A Budget Friendly Sedan With Lots Of FeaturesI was thinking of purchasing a new sedan, but my budget was low. I had to look for an affordable vehicle that comes with a high-performance engine along with some practical features. After looking at various sedan models, I finally decided to buy the Mahindra Verito, which is considered as an ideal vehicle for budget car buyers. The vehicle, which I have purchased was a diesel version and it comes equipped with a 1.5-litre diesel motor. This engine has a displacement capacity of 1461cc, which enables it to produce 65Bhp of maximum power that results in generating a peak torque of about 160Nm. This motor is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox and it enables the vehicle to give away a mileage of about 19-20 kmpl. On the other hand, it comes with an array of features including a manual AC unit, power steering, power windows, central locking system, tachometer, glove box compartment, fabric seats and numerous other sophisticated aspects. It also comes with safety features like side impact protection, engine immobiliser, door ajar warning, anti-lock braking system, tubeless tyres and other advanced features. After purchasing the vehicle, I took my family for a holiday trip in this car and returned just a few days back. Well, the overall experience with the car was fascinating and I never had any problem with it, especially with the engine, which delivered a flawless performance. I would suggest Mahindra Verito to all budget car buyers as it comes with a mix of high performance, comfort and safety features all together at a low price.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
