    Mahindra will launch the rebadged version the Ssangyong G4 Rexton a.k.a the next-gen Rexton on 19 November 2018. The SUV will become Mahindra’s flagship offering in the market and will get a new name, most likely ‘XUV700’. The G4 Rexton is built on a completely new platform as opposed to the outgoing version sold here. Powering the new Rexton is a 2.2-litre diesel engine (e-XDi 220) that is capable of churning out 180PS of max power and 420Nm of peak torque. The Rexton is set to be offered in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations.


    The upcoming Mahindra SUV will rival the likes of the Ford Endeavour, the Toyota Fortuner and the Isuzu MU-X facelift and is expected to sport an aggressive price tag of around Rs 25 lakh, which will help it undercut the others in the competitive full-blown SUV segment.
