    1.3 Zeta S cross, a Diamond Car!!!
I am from Ahmedabad. I was having i10 for almost 7.5 years and then I was thinking for a new car. One thing I was very clear that I did not want to go for Sedan car due to edge old presence and limited choice in this segment between, City, Verna, Ciaz and Vento. I wanted something different than Sedan and I decided to go for SUV. Again the choices were limited and were between Ecosport, Creta and Duster. When I started studying cars over net and visiting dealers places, S cross was not in race and I had almost finalized Ecosport due to fitting ( with little bit of stretching, my budget was within 10 L and Eco titanium on Road was 10.5L ) in my budget and also having all the superior spects. Incidentally, I visited Nexa and seen S cross and I found Interesting so it was then between Eco Vs Scross. Though again all set to go for Eco due to its dashing outlook, engine, power, torque etc...Finally, I decided to go for S cross mainly due to its a featured packed car compared to Eco and mainly higher features like cruise control, voice control, navigation for the model which I was comparing between titanium Eco and Zeta S cross. However, when I finally decided to go for S cross and made payment, i was bit shaky for my decision and was still thinking for Eco. But when I got my car and started driving, my goodness, It proved my decision RIGHT. It gave me all the luxurious car features, driving comfort at affordable price ( 9.6L 1.3 Zeta) and made me feel a wise guy. The Nexa experience was also good. I did not go for creta due to budget constraint and duster due to its edge old 1990 style interior. However, I had a test drive of both the cars and found very pleasant. Pros : As I mentioned, its featured pack car, good driving experience on highway. Touch screen system is amazing with features like voice control and navigation. This 1.3 L having 200 Nm torque engine offers good pick up on highway, good suspensions, superb cruise control offers very pleasure driving, good breaking system. Decent outlook. Good leg space. Cons : Bit sluggish operation in city road and traffic, higher noise level inside cabin, some more features could have been added like rear AC vent, remote trunk and fuel lead control, projected head lamps, follow me function and bit powerful engine. The same engine is there in baleno, dzire, brezza does not make any distinguish between this premium Cross over and above cars. Interior is more of swift or baleno. After sales is still with normal Maruti dealer and not with Nexa. Conclusion : Though it is only a week time that I got S cross, I would say its a Diamond car in this segment and one should go for 1.3 Zeta model without any hesitation. It will not disappoint you. However, If your budget is around 12 L, go for Eco sports titanium plus or 1.6 L S cross.

Everything done perfectly except the front look!
First of all the indian version of the car is known as S-Cross not SX4 S-Cross since maruti didn't wanted to carry forward the branding of not so successful sedan SX4. S-Cross is the premium offering from the maruti's portfolio and yes it lives up to the expectation for maruti standards. It may not be the head turner in terms for looks and design, but it is built for a purpose and it serves the purpose pretty well. The car has solid build quality and checks almost all the right boxes for a car of this price range. Exterior: * The exterior of the car is not appealing nor imposing rather what it offers is a well planted stance, it looks pretty much like a over grown hatch for that matter. But once you get past the looks of the car, you will get to know how the overall product is. * The front of the car looks very basic, there are no strong design elements present in the front of the car except the large front grill. * There is a silver touch present below the front cladding and around the fog lamps which adds to the bland looks of the car. * It is a pretty decent sized car with a length of 4.3m width of 1.7m and a height of 1.5m its looks bigger in actual than it does in the pictures. * The new alloys looks far better than the previous ones which looked like wheel covers. * There is a black side cladding running across the car which gives it the much needed crossover look. * The on-off road tyres form JK does the job pretty well but are little sluggish while hard cornering but for day to day city usage and normal highway usage they do the job. * The side of the car is where it looks the best. * The rear end of the car looks good with the taillights nicely integrated with boot. Interior: * The interior of the car is the best seen till date on any of the marutis, it gives you the much needed premium feeling that you expect at this price point. * The overall fit and finish of the dash and that of the cabin is just superb, the door closes with a "thubb" sound which is pretty good. * The touch screen infotainment system is great with apple carplay and mirrorlink. Connectivity is no issue with bluetooth and all additional features. The system is nicely integrated with the dash and it is very easy to read during bright day light as well. The interface of the infotainment system is very good just like smartphone. My personal experience with the apple carplay is very good, it just brings your iphone to the screen! plus the navigation also works well. There is also an app which can be used as the remote for the infotainment system. * The panel for the auto climate control is also well put together and feels great to use. * The front seats are very supportive and long highway journeys are very comfortable in this car. * The instrument cluster also displays decent information like distance to empty, fuel economy etc. but lacks the gear shift indicator. * There are plenty of storage spaces in the car for all your small things. * The driver seat has a commanding view and it is easy to find a comfortable driving position as the steering is both rack and reach adjustable and a height adjustment is also available for the driver seat. * The back seat is also very comfortable and can fit three people with ease. * The cabin is very roomy and airy. * The sliding hand rest for the front seat also works well. * The boot is decent size with a low loading lip which provides better accessibility. The overall feel sitting inside the cabin is premium with loads of features like push button start on offer giving hyundai a run for its money. Performane: The DDIS 320 motor is a gem of an engine. It produces around 118 bhp of power and 320 nm of torque. The engine is extremely torqy and produces healthy bhp as well. The DDIS 320 unit is costlier by around 3 lakhs for the DDIS 200 motor which produces 90 bhp and 200nm of torque. Now coming to the performance of the DDIS200 unit, it is a pretty decent machine it does the job pretty well. Both the engines feel lagging under the 1800 rpm mark, but once you get past that, the DDIS320 unit shoots up and believe me it brings a smile on your face as you are pushed back to your seat. The DDIS200 motor also feels like get going as the turbocharger kicks in. If you are not on a budget then definitely go for the 320 motor but the 200 is also a tried and tested unit from the maruti which is doing its job pretty well on the ciaz as well. On the up side there no difference in the interior and exterior of the car for both the engines. The car drives pleasantly inside the city but once you take it to the highway it feels at home, it just flows effortlessly. The ride quality is also good on both the city and highway conditions. The suspension is little bit on the firmer side but performs well. Fuel economy figures for me are very good with around 16-18 kmpl in the city and around 20-21 kmpl out on the highway with the AC onin the DDIS200 engine. Safety: Well all the models of the car get airbags, abs as standard. The car also has all disc brakes on all the four wheels which is great for braking as it gives you very much confidence while riding the car. Conclusion: Well should you buy one or not? In my opinion you should definitely buy the car. The only thing going against the car is the looks, it lacks the road presence of a SUV say which the competition offers but once you get past the looks everything is in the place for this car. The interiors can give hyundai a run for its money. The pricing of the car makes it a complete package as it is cheaper than the creta by around 2.5L feature to feature and the duster is age old that does not have the interior quality as good as the s-cross. And for the ecosport, well why would you want to buy a sub 4 meter car at this price point :P The S-Cross is a value for money car, it delivers very good for the price it asks. The S-CROSS lacks emotion but wins hands down in practicality and combined with the maruti reliability and extensive network, the S-Cross very well has the potential to be your next crossover. About the NEXA Experience: For us, the NEXA experience was the best among all other showrooms. And the delivery experience of the NEXA is the best in the entire country. They have a cake cutting ceremony, your name gets displayed on the delivery area and the box of Ferraro Rocher chocolates does feel good. The overall delivery experience has a feel good factor which everyone who buys the car will get after spending the hard earned money.

S Cross --> The Ultimate Cruiser
Dear Readers, I am not a good writer but I have put in my best efforts to make this review worth a read. After extensive research & going against everybody's (friends & family) suggestions, I bought S-Cross in Dec 2015, and today I can proudly say that I made the right decision. S-Cross is a very practical offering from Maruti Suzuki, it has a plethora of features at a very competitive pricing not offered by any other OEM. What You may like: Big & Safe build, Comfortable Ride,  Black Interior yet not claustrophobic , Tilt & telescopic steering, ABS/Air Bags/ 4 Wheel Disc Brakes as standard across all variants, Superior Quality & Brand Trust What You may dislike, Alloy wheel design, Bland looks Apart from the above two points there is nothing that you won't like in S-Cross. And while I am writing this review, Maruti-Suzuki has already worked in this area. The 2017 S-Cross has new set of alloy wheels which has a sassy look. Moreover, they are soon coming with a major facelift next year. Refer to the images attached. Now let's look at each area in Detail. Exterior The S-Cross has a huge bonnet designed to accommodate both 1.3 & 1.6 Diesel Mill which gives a bold look from the front. It is accompanied by a 2 slat grill with Suzuki Badge in between & big halogen headlamps on the sides. The top-end variant gets the LED ,Pilot Lamps (don't confuse it with DRLs) and HID projector lamps. The bumper is divided into two halves of body color & black cladding which continues on all four sides to give it a cross-over look. Fog lamps have been nicely integrated with silver chrome accents. You also get matte silver skid plates & side skirt on all four sides. The roof rails could have been taller but still look very decent. On the rear you get the NEXA badging on the windscreen & nice wrap-around tail lamps. For higher end models the reverse parking camera is very well integrated in the license plate lamp area. Also, S-cross doesn?t have the regular mechanical lever for the tail gate but it has an electronic button or a request button (in Higher variants) to open the tail. Interior Coming to the interiors, S-Cross offers a complete black package. The dashboard is made of soft plastic with a carbon fibre look which is very nice to touch & feel. The A/C louvers knobs have a chrome accents. The instrument cluster is big with very elegant blue & white back lit arrangement & 3.5 Inch MID in the centre which displays information about your vehicles performance, the fuel economy, programming the safety alarms, cabin illumination settings. It also shows exactly which door is open. You get tilt telescopic steering which means you get both reach & rake which I guess is the first in segment feature. Also there are steering mounted controls for telephony, audio & cruise control. Yes S-Cross has cruise control which can be activated once you are above 40 Km/Hr. The centre console houses the audio system depending on the variant you get. On Alpha & Zeta the touchscreen infotainment system is borrowed from Ciaz or 2-DIN audio system ( Delta & Sigma) with CD player mated to a 6 Speaker configuration eliminates the need of any Audio upgrade in your car. The seats are well cushioned and offer phenomenal under thigh support which makes long journey very comfortable. Also, the driver seat is height adjustable, so one finds a comfortable position in no time. The sliding arm ? rest is one of the most delighted feature by Maruti, you can rest your arms & easily change gears which adds to your comfort. Since the overall length of the car is quite long the same is reflected inside where you get ample leg room. I am 6ft tall so even at my driving position people at the back have ample space to stretch their legs. Also the overall height of the car is higher than other cross-overs in the market which gives you very good visibility. What you will miss in this car is the rear- air con but that will be compensated by the chilly A/C in the front. The S-Cross has a lot of storage space all around, 1 litre bottle holder in all the doors, 2 cup holders in front, illuminated glove box, storage space under the arm rest, for the higher variants you get centre arm rest on the rear set with cup holders. The boot size is 353 litre which is spacious enough to hold two large luggage bags and there are two storage bins on each side of the boot. Refer the images attached. Ride & Handling The ride of the S-Cross is very smooth. It is truly a highway cruiser, it will absorb all the potholes on its way, thanks to its suspension system. S ?Cross is available only in diesel with 2 options 1.3 which is common with Ciaz & Ertiga & the all-new 1.6 multijet sourced from FIAT. The 1.3 engine is perfect for city riding as well as your weekend getaways. There is an initial turbo lag which vanishes once you pass the 1900RPM mark. The S-Cross has a rock solid stability when it comes to highway cruising. The body roll is minimal due to long wheelbase. But if you need extra power , extra fun, and you want to hear co-passengers saying ?Mazza aagaya ? go for the 1.6. It is so powerful that you will have joy of your lifetime pushing the throttle. Safety The S-cross scored 5 stars in ASEAN NCAP crash testing for adult safety. It offers Dual Air ? Bags, ABS EBD with all four disc brakes. The build quality brings the confidence of riding a safe car. Verdict Maruti Suzuki is working very aggressively for eradicating any of the short comings they feel in their products & to deliver a perfect customer oriented products. S-cross is a star in every area. It has very spacious & practical interiors/exteriors/performance & safety combined with the premium touch & feel at every corner. Ofcourse, the brand trust is always there with you.

Maruti S-Cross -- Good as CrossOver
Last Week I took test drive for Maruti S-Cross top model My observations are in below Exterior :- 1. Looks Ok .. Not attractive compare to Creta / Breeza too 2. Crome Grill with Logo Looks good 3. Back side parking Camera not in good Position as per Indian Road condition and Normal Accident issues as most of the time back bumper gets damaged due accident 4.Good is Length and Width Interior :-1. Good Dashboard 2. Too Specious 4.Superb Leg space 5. Music System is good with all top notch functionality 6. Seating posture is ok 7. Gear System is ok as I am expecting more smooth in S-Cross When price is more than 10L8.Push Button in Right side which I don't feel as the correct position as it always behind the Wheel . Over All :- I did the test drive with a car which ran 7k 1. Clutch condition was not good which is not expected from a premium tagged car. 2. Engine Sound was bit more .3. Suspension was good 4. Engine Capacity was good too 5. Driving comfort was good6. Doors are good and very Smooth Sound Over all My view point is , S-cross is a good card and people can go for it if he/she has a fascination with Maruti and Can think only about the Maruti post Service otherwise I will say this Car is Overpriced . Maruti have to Think on the price tag or Quality needs to be improved .

Maruti S-Cross - Big Premium Hatch
Prologue:   We are a family of three, and my daily commute is 130 kms, so we needed a spacious car for a daily commute as well as a weekend getaways, preferably a diesel mill (running cost cheaper) under the budget of 10 L.   After extensive research over the internet, I shortlisted Honda Jazz, Ford Ecosport and Maruti Baleno for the Test Drive.   We were quite impressed with Honda Jazz and Maruti Suzuki Baleno. We went to the Nexa Showroom since it was the nearest. Waiting for the long queues for the test drive of Baleno, the Relationship Manager offered us a ride of S-Cross. Since, we had no other option we chose to take a ride. It appears like an overgrown hatch & evolution of Maruti?s SX4. To our surprise, S-Cross quite exceeded our expectations. Those comfortable seats, practical interior looks, easy accessibility and no waiting period, we finalized 1.3 Delta along with the upgrade kit of Fog Lamps/Alloy Wheels/Parking Camera/GPS Navigation (Better deal) .   Sure Shot Reasons to Like : Solid Build Comfortable seats both front & rear Spacious & roomy interiors Tilt & telescopic steering Standard ABS/ Air-Bags /4 Wheel Disc Brakes Brand Trust   Reasons to Dislike : Relatively smaller boot in comparison to the size of the car Bland Alloy Wheels Not a head turner Evident turbo lag   Detailed Review   Exterior The front has a descent looking two slat chrome grill with the Big Suzuki badge well integrated in between. The front nose down gives S-Cross a very bold appearance. Chrome touch around the fog lamp gives a premium touch. To give it a crossover feel Maruti has added black body cladding all around with Silver matte front/rear skid plates & side skirts to add to the premium feel. The black roof rails gives a stylish accent. ORVMS are tall & broad and decently covers the view behind. 180 mm ground clearance gives you a little freedom of off-road experience as well. The design of the alloy wheels is very boring, and since it is mostly covered so one can mistake it for a wheel cap.   Interior The S-Cross scores really well in terms of interior, with premium features & comfort. To name a few the dashboard is made of soft plastic which feels like carbon fiber. The audio system is 4 speaker remote controlled Bluetooth/USB/FM/CD with steering mounted controls. The instrument cluster is classy with White-Blue rings & 3.5 Inch MID where you can program for locking/unlocking , safety alarms , cabin lamps illumination mode (theater) etc. The steering wheel & window lift switch console is borrowed from other cheap Maruti?s and could have been better since S-Cross is launched under a premium badge. The seats are well cushioned and offers phenomenal lateral & under thigh support with tilt & telescopic steering, sliding center armrest it doesn?t take you long enough to find a comfortable position. Visibility is very good, thanks to higher seating in both front & rear row which offers enough shoulder & legroom, despite the height, ingress & egress is easy. Even though the rear air cons are missing, the AC is chilly & keeps it cool in Delhi?s hot summers. The A- Pillars are wide & could be problematic at some situations. The boot size 353 liters is relatively less compared to 354 liter of Honda Jazz, but you have storage bins on each side of the boot floor. It also include height adjustable seat belts, 1 liter bottle holder in all four doors, illuminated glove box, and storage space under the arm rest.   Ride & Performance Dual Airbags, ABS, EBD, 4 Wheel disc brakes are standard across all variants. The S-Cross is powered by 1.3 DDIS 90PS 200NM which is common with Ciaz & Ertiga. The turbo lag is evident till 1900 RPM mark, but once you surpass that, S-Cross just pulls off. One needs to master the rev range above 1900 vs gear combination for continuous feel of power. Noise filters in, once you cross 3000 RPM mark. Highway performance of S-Cross is marvelous the suspension filters almost all potholes, with rock solid stability but there is a little slack in center & continuously needs correction. At sharp turns, body roll is minimal, however JK Elanzo tires squeal and with lesser grip lowers the overall confidence.   Highway mileage ~20 Kmpl, City Mileage ~16 kmpl   Final Verdict S-Cross doesn't have the looks to twirl your eyes and head, but the features are so well put together showcasing it as a versatile & sensible package. It is not exactly a cross-over rather a full size hatch with premium & spacious interiors. Trusted diesel engine with good records. If you can extend your budget go for 1.6 and you will love the performance.

Maruti Suzuki S cross PREMIUM CROSSOVER in Segments
I purchased Maruti Suzuki S cross in 4 months back. through out it is above average car in the SUV segment in terms of Pick up, comfort but as compare to Hyundai creta, the price and mileage is very good. i am getting 22.70KMPL in city with 70kg weight of Driver. Maruti Suzuki is known for Best milege in world and i am feeling very happy to buy this car. In indian roads the drive is smooth and when i pick up speed above 40-45, the car will go 100 in 7-10 second because of the Turbo Charger so my recommendation is go for scross.

    A premium Crossover..
I bought this car in october 2016, Although a difficult choice between Creta & S-Cross after much research, feedback and thought; went for the 1.3 Zeta and it didn't disappoint me.A great car to drive. The passenger comfort is excellent. Smooth on highways. The engine is having infinite power in reserve to be tapped. The best part is its turbo engine. The car is well planned & Highly Stable on Highways. When we drive this car it's very easy to drive & also sporty at same time. This car may not attract from outside but has very classy design just consider the design of Audi & BMW. It's luxury almost in most of areas. The car is indeed good in terms of suspension.Very comfortble to travel with high seats and good view even from rear seats. The Car comes with JK tires and though it looks good for city drive, does not inspire confidence on highways even with 16" alloy wheel. You always have the fear of the tires, and perhaps Maruti could think of providing better tires as an option. Pick up too good. The main features which can attract a buyers is- -Cruise Control -Infotainment and Navigation Panel -Legroom -Automatic A/C -Boot space If you are a hatchback driver then you might face issues while driving. The pick-up compared to other diesel cars, if we see S-cross has better pick-up.
