What features does the Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB get?
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB gets three displays on the dashboard, including a 12.3-inch driver’s display, a 14.4-inch touchscreen and another 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger. It also has a self-facing camera (for online conference calls), a 4-zone auto AC with digital vent control, a 17-speaker Burmester sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof and a memory function on the front seats.
What engine and transmission options are available?
Two petrol and one diesel engine options are offered with the new E-Class. These include:

A 2-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine (197 PS/320 Nm)

A 2-litre four-cylinder mild-hybrid diesel engine (200 PS/440 Nm)

A new 3-litre six-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol that produces 381 PS.
All of these three engines are mated with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
How safe is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB?
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB has not been tested by Bharat NCAP or Global NCAP yet.
However, its safety suite includes eight airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors with a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and some advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features such as Active Parking Assist, Blind Spot Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
