Latest Update: The facelifted Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC has been launched in India. It features minor design tweaks but maintains the same luxurious cabin experience as before.
Price: It is priced at Rs 3.35 crore (ex-showroom pan India).
Variants: Mercedes offers its flagship luxury SUV in a single GLS 600 4MATIC variant.
Engine And Transmission: The 2024 Maybach GLS now comes with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. It makes 557 PS and 770 Nm, and is assisted by a 48V mild-hybrid setup, which gives it a boost of 21 PS and 250 Nm. This engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission gets an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. This luxury SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds.
Features: The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is equipped with amenities like dual integrated screen setup on the dashboard, 4-zone climate control, wireless phone charger, and all heated and ventilated seats. The SUV also comes with a 13-speaker Burmester sound system, electric sunblinds, panoramic sunroof, and dedicated screens for the rear passengers.
Safety: Its safety kit includes multiple airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and a full suite of level 2 ADAS features like lane keep assist, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking.
Rivals: The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is a rival to the Land Rover Range Rover, Bentley Bentayga, and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
