Mercedes-Benz V-Class 2024

Latest Update: The new Mercedes Benz V-Class has been revealed globally. 

Launch: It will go on sale in India sometime by May 2024. 

Price: The 2024 V-Class could be priced from around Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom). 

Seating Capacity: Globally, it is offered in 4 and 6-seater configurations. 

Engines: The engine details are yet to be revealed, but the previous version was globally offered with a 2-litre diesel engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission. We’re expecting the same powertrain to continue, but with a 48V mild-hybrid technology. Mercedes-Benz has also revealed an all-electric version, called the EQV, of the new V-Class. It is expected to have a claimed range of around 400km.

Features: The new V-Class features a big panoramic sunroof, dual 12.3-inch displays for the touchscreen system and digital driver’s display, powered seats with lumbar support, electrically operated rear sliding doors, and 64-colour ambient lighting. 

Safety: For safety purposes, the 2024 Mercedes Benz V-Class gets up to eight airbags and a radar-based advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite, which further features autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, parking assistant, and adaptive cruise control.

Rivals: In India, the Mercedes Benz V-Class will rival the new-generation Toyota Velfire.
