Body Weight and Build Quality is best

Nissan Micra, which I bought and used last 6 years and I am sharing my experience that Micra was incredible with Body weight and build quality, I ride the same 1,10,000 km and still there is no noise at all. I am using Diesel fuel option variant and still I am getting 23 km per litre mileage. that also very useful for a city and long drive. Now am confused to change my car. I did like to change my Micra. Smooth handling, more space than other cars, Dealer treat you very well and resolve you all queries. For the interior, it is as good as the exteriors. While driving you can feel the power of this hatchback. It's not the ultimate Nissan but yes it's "The NISSAN'.Fuel consumption is ok good mileage in city or highway. comfortable in drive and seat also comfortable to seat, easily adjust your driving seat, headlight, and tail lights are looking not so much good and One must choose this car if he has an average size family. A perfect engine with smart features enables and make this car pretty awesome. I find utility, comfort, economy, durability, and external shape. This car is spacious but it's not a mostly use.Nissan Micra is a good option if someone is planning to buy a car in the range of 4Lakh-7Lakh.Varied color options are also available to choose the best for you.Read More

    Nissan Micra XV Premium Diesel

I have the 2011 model Micra diesel variant top end XV premium model. Superb car in the hatchback segment. Very easy and smooth to handle even on high speeds. I can drive my Micra even for 1000 km. Very comfortable to drive. Once I drove 700 km in a day. The top speed was 154 kmph but it can reach 175 kmph. The car sticks to the road even on high speed up to 130 kmph. No vibration or engine sound inside the car. It feels like a petrol vehicle in pickup. By just pressing the accelerator it keeps on going smoothly without any stress in the engine. At the high speed, the sound may be felt. It feels like more number of gear are required but up to 160 kmph the car goes on smoothly. My Micra has been driven more than 165000 km but still, it's performing like a new vehicle. Pros: 1. Handling. 2. Travel comfort. 3. High speed. 4. Vehicle stability and control in normal speed. 5. Mileage.(18 kmpl - 19 kmpl). But not specified mileage 23.08 kmpl. But its good mileage. 6. Auto AC. 7. Driver Airbag. 8. Came with CD player and speakers. 9. Steering control. 10. Auto folding rear view mirror.   Cons: 1. No ABS . 2. Service cost (Expensive for middle class). 3. No steering mount control and Bluetooth connectivity. 4. No Passenger Airbag. 5. No AMT transmission in diesel variant.Read More

Premium luxury hatchback with features better than 10 lac priced cars

Nissan Micra is a premium luxury hatchback with features better than a 10 lac priced car. It's low on maintenance and is very high on the fuel economy (mileage is as good as 26kmp on the highways in the Micra diesel). Awesome comfort features, some of them are the smart button entry on three doors including back door (without actually using key/remote), Push button start/stop, Automatic opening and folding mirrors at the start or stop and super cooling AC. Most comfortable seats and are very spacious to sit in with premium quality of interiors. In short, it's luxury at an affordable price. A value for money car and a smart decision made. Not to forget attractive aerodynamic looks which make it the most beautiful and curvy car in the segment.Read More

    Avoid Vehicles From Nissan

Look and Style - Just ok. Interiors are quite poor. Comfort - Fine, not quite good. Pickup - Pick up is good, but how long your vehicle will serve you, no guarantee from Nissan. Mileage - The car gives a mileage of approx 15 kmpl. Best Features - Nothing is good about this car. Needs to improve - Quality of the whole vehicle is poor and needs a lot of improvement. Overall Experience - Very bad, worst after sales services.  Read More

    Best choice in this segment

Look and Style It's a cute little car I bought for my wife. I love the looks. It's neither big nor too small. Nissan needs to put more rubber on the door and hatch as dust and water easily get into these large cavities. The extra rubber will also help in reducing cabin noise. Comfort Roomy enough for the driver and front passenger. Less leg room in the back. Comfortable Interior - better than other hatch backs in this segment. It's loaded with features like ABS, front airbags, push button start/stop and keyless entry. Automatic folding rear-view mirrors are a blessing as I don't need to worry about folding them every time I park on cluttered parking spots. There is reasonably good room for luggage in the back. Plastic and fabric quality is not top notch but reasonably okay. Sound proofing on the doors could be much better considering it's not a cheap car. The air conditioner is very effective and does not affect the engine performance while driving. Overall the car is very easy to drive and it has a great line of sight for the driver with practically no blind spots. Pickup Initially, I was getting a very low mileage and was a bit frustrated. Then I realized that my driving style was inappropriate for a CVT engine. I was pushing the accelerator a little too much as I thought the pickup was slow. Then through experience, I learned that CVT engines respond differently than the automatic transmission ones. Once you put the car in the drive mode, press the accelerator just a little and allow the CVT engine to respond. The initial acceleration is slow but after a few meters the CVT engine starts responding promptly to the accelerator and the car becomes zippy.  Mileage Take it easy on the accelerator paddle and press it somewhat less than what you would normally do in case of an automatic transmission. This will give you a great mileage ~15-16 km/litre in city driving conditions.  Best Features I have the XV CVT variant. It is very easy to drive and I love the driver's line of sight. You precisely know where the car is going in crowded areas and bumper to bumper traffic. ABS Brakes and Front Air bags are rare in this segment. Nissan Micra has both these features.Windows are large enough for front and back passengers. At the same time, there is enough privacy in the cabin. Built-in Radio and music system has good sound quality and there is no need to upgrade unless you need a navigation system. Remote steering wheel controls help in controlling the music system, radio and allows you to conveniently answer important phone calls through blue tooth connectivity while driving. The circular console is cute and air conditioning temperature can be adjusted, which is a really nice feature. Needs to improve Sound proofing of the cabin, ground clearance, fixing cavities around doors and hatch, after sales service, product advertising. Nissan must clearly differentiate their products from the competition. Nissan India needs a better marketing team. Overall Experience I did a lot of research before buying this car. The online reviews aren't very encouraging. But I have lived in the US and have known Nissans for a long time. My first car was a Nissan Maxima and I did not have any problems with it. My family and friends have owned Nissans and they loved them. Most of the negative reviews in India are about the dealers and their after sales service. Generally, there aren't many complaints about the quality of Nissan cars as such. It took me no time to discount those negative reviews. The TV reviews and comparisons that I found on YouTube mostly seemed to be paid reviews. They were good for nothing and none of them were based on proper research. Nissans are new to India. They need to polish their edges, which I am pretty sure they are capable of. Their service partner Hover had really let them down. But they should move on and build credibility on their own strengths, quality, product differentiation and customer service.Read More

A car must for your wife and parents if you love them more than yourself

Look and style Stylish looks with plenty of chrome at the front as well as the rear. ABS and Disc brake enhance the safety aspect. LED Lamps and smart focusing lamp make it more adorable. Comfort: Good for a family member of 5. Nissan Micra has got a nice suspension and is good for Indian roads. Pickup: Micra is designed to give better mileage. You can change to sports mode to increase pick up and overtake a vehicle. Shif to LOWLOAD mode for uphill road and on curve roads. Mileage: Previously, it was 13kmpl on highways and 10 kmpl in city. But after a lot of research, i found not to keep on pressing your accelerator for speed. Just press a little and when you get the speed just leave the accelerator slowly, you will see what cvt will do itself to maintain the speed and it will give you nice and increased mileage. After doing all this I found that my car gave 17kmpl of fuel economy at highway and 13kmpl at a city. Just try it and never put mate below your accelerator. It may block the full passage of your pedal causing overload to the engine and less mileage. If you have any doubt just mail me at padmanabha.rath@gmail.com. Best features: Bluetooth, Steering mounted audio and Phone controls, Climate control AC, Rear seat leg room and Good sound system Needs to improve: Ground clearance, Fog Lamp and an addition of Rear Sensors Overall experience: Too good. For your family and for yourself too as the driving part is concerned. Just go for it, don't think much.Read More

Nissan Micra XV CVT - designed for awesome city rides

Look and Style: The facelift has made Micra look neutral if not totally masculine. Looks great. With nice looking chrome grill and rear visor, it looks great. Good looking chrome handle from inside. Comfort: With driver seat height adjustable and great interiors with good head rest at the rear, Micra gives a sedan comfort. Comfortable leg room and head room. Good 251 litres boot. The great audio system with Bluetooth. Pickup: Maverick.. It just zooms, thanks to its CVT. Mileage: In the city for hop-in and hop-out drives it gives 14.6kmpl. For considerably long like 30 mins+ drives it gives 16.0 kmpl and for highway drive, it has given 17.3kmpl. Best Features: 1. Its superb performance, thanks to CVT. 2. Good steering sensitivity. 3. Good head & leg room. 4. Powerful A/C. 5. Smart key and push button. Needs to improve: Should have reverse parking sensors if not a reverse camera. Overall Experience: Just awesome. Recommended for city riders especially in high-density traffic areas. Read More
