We did a test drive of all the possible SUVs available in Dec. 2004 and finally settled down for the X-TRail Elegance. No doubt the car is a diesel engine but on my first-hand trial I strongly believed it is a petrol engine. The car is smooth..too smooth. X-Trail elegance is Extremely good for adventurous rides!!! I reside in Mumbai. It is always seen on Mumbai roads. The cruise control knobs(3 positions), large sunroof,5-spoke alloy wheels, and sporty looks are simply superb. The height should be increased as with this height it looks like an SUV for ladies. The headlamps and taillamps r too good.
