Mahindra is among the country's most celebrated brands, and it had recently launched the much awaited TUV300. This is a vehicle belonging to the compact SUV segment, and it shares the design platform as other vehicles from the brand. Among the variants available, the Mahindra TUV 300 T6 Plus stands as a mid range trim. This version comes with its own niche of features. Starting with the heavier side, it is armed with a turbocharged mHawk engine that displaces 1493cc. This engine has been conditioned for sound fuel economy in addition to performance, it meets the BS4 emission norms. There are techno aids such as the ABS and EBD that further cement control. Numerous safety facilities are also provided, starting from airbags and seatbelts to a robust body format that reduces damage during collisions. The exterior format of the vehicle is said to have been inspired by a battle tank. The SUV takes a wide and majestic stance, and it is tailored for a finer look with chrome highlights, fine body lines and wheel caps. The body colored outside mirrors and door handles make for a more wholesome picture. The spare wheel is mounted by the tailgate, adding a sporty touch to the look. Exteriors:

Starting with the front, there is a vertical grille with the company's emblem over it. This effect is further enhanced with chrome inserts. The headlamp clusters on either side of the grille are stylish in design. The machine's hood is wide and muscular, and there are clean lines that add to the effect. Interiors:

The design of the cabin is based on high ergonomics. The two rows of seats are arranged to enable apt space and comfort for the occupants. Headrests are present for both the rows, giving support to the heads. The upholstery covering the seats is a combination of fabric and vinyl, enriching the drive atmosphere for the occupants. The multi-functional steering wheel adds a sophisticated touch to the cabin. The company has gifted this car with a dual tone dashboard that bears an all new design. In addition to this, there is a molded center fascia featuring several equipments. Further improving the look of the cabin is a twin pod instrument cluster with an intelligent button arrangement. There are storage units at the front panel, the door sides and the console. For utility purposes, the vehicle also provides side footsteps for the convenience of the occupants.

Engine and Performance:

The SUV is equipped with a 1.5-litre mHawk80 diesel engine. It consists of 3 cylinders, and displaces 1493cc. Its working is further enhanced with a two stage turbocharger. The mill develops a power of 84bhp at 3750rpm, coupled with a torque of 230Nm at 1500rpm to 2250rpm. The engine is supported by a five speed manual gearbox, which enables easy shifting and improved performance.

Braking and Handling:

For the braking requirements, the company has given it strong discs for the front and drums at the rear. Meanwhile, a double wishbone system is rigged onto the front axle of the suspension, and a rigid axle multi link arrangement is present for the rear. Tubeless radials adorn all of the wheels, further adding to the control quality when driving.

Comfort Features:

For the entertainment needs of the passengers, there is an advanced Infotainment system that comes along with a display screen for optimal working convenience. In addition to this, there is also a 2 DIN audio system that comes with Aux-In facilities and a USB port, allowing occupants to connect external devices with the system for increased viability. Bluetooth facility is another highlight that allows to host calls as well as stream music.
