Tata Motors needs no introduction in the automobile industry not only in India but also in the world. They have dominated almost every car segment mainly due their excellent car service and network all over India. This time they have brought the all new Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX . This vehicle possesses a brilliant new design with many unmatched quality features and great comfort levels. The original Vista has been completely refurbished creating a good combination of power, style and luxury. This is a top-end variant so one can expect that this car would have all the necessary features and utilities that may not be available in the basic models. Under the hood the car has a 1.3-litre petrol engine that produces significant amounts of power and torque. The transmission is a 5-speed manual gearbox. The braking and handling are both very responsive and accurate. The exteriors and interiors are well designed and placed. The boot space is very good and and has enough space to store all the necessary luggage and shopping bags. The safety and security features installed are of top notch quality to provide safety not only to the passengers but also to the car. The audio player comes with many connectivity options and good quality speakers.

Exteriors

Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX comes in a total of 5 colour shades, which are very classy and elegant. These shades include Summer Sparkle, Cavern Grey, Spice Red, Jet Silver and Porcelain White. The front headlamps, which are multi chambered, look quite stunning while chrome detailing on the headlamps adds a little more spark to it. The rear of the vehicle also looks good as it has been complemented with pearl black finishing, which is very striking. Fog lamps for both front and rear have been provided. The bumpers, roof rails and door handles all are body coloured and some chrome finish can also be seen on these. Other exterior features such as alloy wheels, roof mounted antenna, 7-speed wipers, adjustable ORVMs, weather strip, etc. are also present . The overall length, width and height of the car measures out to be 3795mm, 1695mm and  1550mm respectively.     

Interiors

Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX has some extraordinary interiors with great boot up space. It has the biggest cabin in its class, which is completely dressed in luxury. The dual tone of Ebony black and Sahara beige not only looks beautiful but has also been very well placed to give extra space. The seat fabrics are very comfortable even for long journeys. Rear seats can be folded in the ratio of 60:40 to make more space for storage purposes. One interesting feature is the illumination of keyhole, which comes in great use at night. A lot of small storage spaces have been provided throughout the car such as the magazine pockets, coin box, pen holder, glove box and visiting card holder. Some other interior features are vanity mirror, tachometer, instrument cluster, adjustable headrests, etc.  

Engine and Performance

The 1.3-litre MPFi engine doesn’t disappoint in any way when it comes to power output and torque produced in the all new Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX. The maximum output is 88.74bhp at the rate of 6000 rpm and 116Nm at the rate of 4750 rpm. The engine has a twin cam with variable valve timing technology which makes the engine quite durable and frugal. The engine displacement measures out to be 1368cc . For the transmission system, Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX comes with 5 forward speed gears and 1 reverse speed gear. This is a petrol engine and the emissions emitted by the car follow Bharat Stage IV rules and regulations. The fuel tank capacity is 37 litres .   

Braking and Handling

The all new Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX comes equipped with good quality brakes. The front brakes are disc brakes and drum type for rear brakes. The brakes are  vacuum assisted independent dual circuit type. An independent lower wishbone McPherson strut has been installed as front suspension. A semi independent twist beam goes with the rear suspension of the car. Both front and rear suspension has coil spring for extra stability. The Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX has a rack and pinion power assisted steering which also has hydraulics. The tubeless radial tyres have a tyre size of 175/65 R15.    

Safety features

Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX comes with ABS(Anti Braking System) with electronic brake force distribution setup. Dual front airbags are present for both driver and co driver. The front seat belt comes with ELR. And some other safety features are child locks, central locking, collapsible steering, seatbelt warning. The entry to the car is keyless and can be remotely operated. Load limiters and pretensioners are also present for the seat belts. Engine immobilizer is also present in the all new Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX. Driver door warning and seat belt not fastened warnings have been provided for extra safety. 

Comfort features

Starting with the entertainment and infotainment system of the car, Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX sets new standards for the other cars in its class for the audio player and powerful speakers. A total of 4 speakers and 2 tweeters are made available in the vehicle . BLUE 5 technology has been used where a total of 5 phones can be connected with the player wirelessly via Bluetooth. Lumbar support which is 2 way adjustable is a great option to have in this car . There are a lot of connectivity options that goes with the audio player of the Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GZX. The driver seat is height adjustable. Power outlets have been provided for both front and rear passengers, which is of great convenience when charging mobile and other devices. Some other comfort features include rear window defogger, power windows, phone book access, digital clock, intelligent rear wiper, remote release fuel lid and tailgate. Some audio options have been mounted on the steering wheel too.
