Just as the new year dawned upon us, Mahindra decided to give its electric SUV a massive update, and launched the Mahindra XUV400 Pro range (EC Pro and EL Pro). The new XUV400 comes with a lot of changes that includes new cabin themes, bigger infotainment system and driver’s display, and a set of modern features and tech. The best part? All these new bits are offered at a steal of a price: Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

A Standout Design

Not a lot has changed in terms of the exterior design of the XUV400, but that’s a good thing, as the XUV400 already has a standout design. The electric SUV looks properly rugged, with big proportions courtesy of it being a C-segment SUV, a whole segment above (and bigger) its key rivals. To make the user experience even better, Mahindra has upgraded the screens of the XUV400. First is the new 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, which has been neatly integrated into the overall design. The graphics are great and each drive mode gets its own theme. Also, to make navigation easier, maps have been integrated into the driver’s display, so you don’t have to look at the infotainment system to see where you are going. It also comes with a full-screen navigation view, ensuring you don’t accidentally miss a turn.

The new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is no doubt a great addition to the XUV400’s cabin. It gets the same user interface that is offered in the Mahindra XUV700, and the graphics are good as well. The touchscreen is super smooth and easy to use, and also supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which will be made available soon via an OTA update.

With this new screen, you also get Mahindra’s AdrenoX connected car features. These 55+ features can be used from your phone and include roadside assistance, valet mode, vehicle status, remote vehicles functions, e-call and SOS. These features not only make your experience seamless, but also make you drive worry-free.

Modern Tech

Mahindra has made sure that there is no compromise in your experience, and for that, apart from the new screens, the XUV400 now also comes with a lot of new features like dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, Alexa integration (available soon via an OTA update), wireless phone charger, and USB Type-C and a 12V socket for the rear passengers. The addition of these features make sure that you don’t feel anything is missing in your XUV400 experience.

So Much Space
