- The Skoda SlaviaThe Skoda Slavia is a mid-size sedan that has been praised for its spacious cabin, comfortable ride, and peppy engines. It is also well-equipped with features, offering a good value for the price. However, some reviewers have noted that the interior quality could be better and that the infotainment system can be slow at times. Overall, the Skoda Slavia is a strong contender in the mid-size sedan segment. Here's a quick summary of its pros and cons: Pros: * Spacious cabin * Comfortable ride * Peppy engines * Well-equipped with features * Good value for the price Cons: * Average interior quality * Slow infotainment systemRead MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Stay Away From The Slavia. Terrible Quality CarThis is a review after 1 week of ownership, 500kms of driving, and 3 trips to the workshop. It will be a short, point wise review 1. The rear camera is the lowest quality you can imagine 2. When reversing the car rushes backward at very high speed, and combine that with a poor rear camera (and its worse at night), and it is designed to increase the probability of hitting someone 3. There are no front parking sensors 4. The car also lunges forward when you release the brakes. This particularly creates a challenge when parking your car because even if you release the brakes a little, it moves forward with a jerk, rushing towards the wall. So you have to keep braking hard to get the right spot when parking. Mixed with the fact that there are no front parking sensors, the car is designed to crash while parking and damaging the front bumpers. It is only a matter of time. 5. The brakes mostly always make a groaning, screeching sound that you expect from a truck or a train. And this is most apparent when parking. 6. The mile-age is quite terrible. In the city with no traffic you can at best get a 10-11kmpl. Else in normal traffic it usually gives around 7kmpl. 7. There is no Tire Pressure Monitoring system. You have no idea what the pressure in the tyres is. There is a tyre pressure alert system, but on one instance when my tire pressure exceeded the limit, it never gave me any alert. Looks like the tyre pressure alert system doesnt work 8. The instrumentation clsuter and the touch screen interface is ok. It is not well designed, and is inconvenient to use, and hence takes your eyes off the road if you try to change or see anything data while driving. Best is to park the car and then change the setting. Nothing is one-click. Everything requires 2-3 clicks. 9. The AC keeps making a loud hissing sound all the time. Its an intermittent hissing sound that keeps going on for long. I dont think it ever stops. 10. The plastics, and buttons are cheap, hard and clunky It is a very poorly designed car, and not sophisticated at all. I regret buying this car, and my goal is to sell it off soon. My recommendation to others is to stay away from buying a Slavia . I also own a Kia Seltos, and for the same price that is a far far superior car in terms of smoothness, mileage, ease of operation, convenience, and ride quality.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo

- Skoda Slavia Is An All RounderI got my Skoda Slavia from Mumbai, and the on-road price was about Rs. 15 lakhs. This sedan offers a mileage of around 16 kmpl, which is pretty efficient. It can comfortably seat five adults and the interior is modern and well-appointed with a spacious feel. The boot space is ample for luggage. However, the ground clearance is a bit low which can be a problem on uneven roads. A fun memory was driving to Goa with my girlfriend, the Slavia's cruise control and sound system made our journey delightful.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
