- Feels luxurious inside with soft-touch materials, big screens, and a 13-speaker CANTON sound system.
- The 2-litre turbo-petrol engine is fairly brisk in terms of acceleration.
- The 7-seater layout is spacious and comfortable for 5 adults plus 2 kids seating.
- The boot offers 281 litres of storage, which is expandable up to 1976 litres when second and third rows are folded.
- It is loaded with safety features and comes equipped with 9 airbags, 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, all-wheel-disc brakes and more.
- No ADAS on offer. Not acceptable at this price point.
- Currently available only with a petrol engine, lacking diesel or hybrid alternatives.
- 3rd row isn’t comfortable for adults.
- Sportline variant misses some important features like Hill Start Assist, Seat Ventillation and 360-degree camera, which is surprising at this price point

The Kodiaq is an excellent SUV with a mix of luxury and functionality. The cabin is super spacious and the 3 row seating makes it perfect for family trips. The Skoda Kodiaq has been discontinued and delisted from the Indian market. It was last available in a single variant, with its most major update being the facelift introduced in January 2022.

The Skoda Kodiaq measured 4699 mm in length, 1882 mm in width, 1665 mm in height and had a wheelbase of 2791 mm. The Kodiaq like any other Skoda sported a clean and pleasing design that aged well over time. It also features LED lighting and large alloys that give it a good stance.

The Skoda Kodiaq was equipped with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 12-speaker Canton sound system, 10-colour ambient lighting, 3-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof and cruise control. It also came with powered front seats with heating and ventilation, a wireless phone charger and keyless entry with push button start.
Skoda Kodiaq Engine and transmission options
The Skoda Kodiaq came with a single-engine option:
2-litre turbo petrol engine: It had a power output of 190 PS and 320 Nm. It was paired with a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) and was offered with an all-wheel drivetrain.

The Kodiaq’s safety suite had as many as 9 airbags (as standard), electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and hill hold and hill descent control. The Skoda Kodiaq got a full five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP when tested back in 2017.
