Along with the Superb which now is the top seller in its segment, Skoda launched its first hatch

- Experience after 5 years
Fabia has strong pros and cons PROS Very good construction, feels very safe inside. Side door gives tough feeling. High roof, high seats are very comfortable. CONS A/C blew off 3 times, paid twice, got free replacement once. Too noisy for today's diesel. Too much kirrrrrrrrrrrr noise Once diesel leaked all over the engine - was from the aluminum delivery pipe. Could have been a hazard, Sold it off after this incident, the next day. Very expensive repair. Read More
- Overall an awesome looking cars with fabulous features, nothing comes close in this segment
Look and Style: Its a matter of personal choice but I find the front and side views of Fabia amazing. The fact that its longer than other cars in its segment does add to the look. The front grill, headlights and foglamps all come together to give it a very macho and sporty look. The rear could be better for sure though. I would rate it 4/5 for exteriors. Once you step inside the car, you are equally impressed. Its spacious and loaded with features. It has two glove boxes and one of them has light in it. I love it as it gives extra storage space. The seats are very comfortable even for long road trips (I just did one from Bangalore to Madurai, alone). The only complain I have is the huge bump in the rear cabin right in the middle, which makes it uncomfortable for the person sitting in middle. He/She cannot sit comfortably and have to spread legs to avoid the bump. Wish it could be smaller. The 2-din music system, steering wheel, chrome-finish stick, black-beige interiors all give it a very premium feel. I would again rate it 4/5 for interiors. Comfort: Very comfortable once inside. With AC and light music on, you are completely in a different world. Not noisy at all. Pickup: Initial pickup is ok, not super quick but its good as in bumper-to-bumper traffic, you don't end up ramming into another vehicle in front. You can drive comfortably in second gear at very low speed and the vehicle would not stop. So you need to go into first gear only if your car has come to a stop otherwise second gear is fine. You can feel the stability and power of build quality in 4th and 5th gears when driving on highways. Very stable and quiet. So its a pleasure to drive at high speeds. Mileage: So far I have driven it 2000 kms, out of which 1000 kms are on highway. I have not kept a separate account of highway and city mileage. My overall mileage has been close to 15.5 kmpl, which makes me think that highway mileage is close to 18 and in city mileage is close to 12 kmpl. Best Features: Build quality, sporty and macho looks, comfortable interiors, highway mileage, boot space. Needs to improve: Remove the bump in rear cabin so five people can sit comfortably. Rear of the car can be redesigned to match the awesome front and side looks. The doors can be opened from inside even when centrally locked, little risky in kids are riding. Overall Experience: So far amazing, touchwood. Read More

- Amazing! beautiful car with amazing mileage. Also very powerful,
Look and Style : Simply amazing! Even though such a powerful car, nothing to compromise on the looks. Comfort : Really comfortable in the front , but not all that good at the back. Suspension is not superb. Pickup : This is the best part. It gives you amazing pickup in all gears and better pickup in 2nd gear compared to other cars. You can definitely feel the pure power. Can take over most SUV's of its range. Mileage : Being a very powerful engined car, the mileage is awesome. If you know to drive your car really clean and soft handling in high ways you get up to 24.2 below 100km/h, above 100km/hr any speed 18.3 is what you get! In city conditions mileage drops down to 15 or even sometimes 14. With full tank you can travel upto 900 kilometers on highway. Best Features : Engine - very powerful, can feel its insane power upto 200km/h speed., though can get you best mileage. Handling is simply superb. No words for safety because skoda is always best in safety. Needs to improve : A little more comfort at the back, also suspension is not really smooth. Overall Experience : You can't believe what amazing things this hatch back can do! There is really a big thin in this small package. Such a monster!Read More

- Elegant and nippy
The new Skoda Fabia is a visual treat, well designed and styled car stands out in the parking lot amongst a whole host of Korean and Japanese models. Look wise, I rate Punto as the only car that is more likely to gain better appreciation from the discerning lot. Comfort Quite comfy interiors, with ample cabin room, enables you to stretch comfortably. Though the back seat is a bit low, compared to a tall boy, which is slightly difficult to ingress, overall sitting posture is comfortable. The car takes on rough roads quite comfortably and zips through the smoother road. Ground clearance is also quite reasonable. Pickup Nippy and efficient. You will feel the power of pick up when you overtake in highways. It is one of the best in class. It gives a mileage of 13 km in city conditions, not too good, not too bad either. Best Features Overall luxury feel of the car -including the styling, looks, premium features, driveability etc. Needs to improve Cabin is quite noisy. Many times you wonder you are driving a diesel car. Overall Experience Quite nice. Very good upgrades from Wagon Rs and Santro's of the worldRead More
