Tata Harrier EV
The Tata Harrier EV is a 5-seater midsize electric SUV. While it retains the core design of the regular ICE (internal combustion engine) version of the Harrier, it gets some EV-specific design details like a closed front grille, revised front bumper, and aerodynamically designed alloy wheels. Tata has also confirmed that the Harrier EV will come with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup.

The Tata Harrier EV has been showcased in the production form at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 along with a Stealth Edition.

The Harrier EV is expected to start at Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
What features are being offered with the Harrier EV?
Key features will include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone automatic AC, ventilated front seats, a 6-way power driver’s seat, a 4-way powered co-driver seat, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof (with mood lighting), and a gesture-enabled powered tailgate. the Harrier EV also gets a summon mode allowing the car to be moved forwards and backwards using the key.
What battery pack options are available with the Tata Harrier EV?
The Harrier EV could come with a battery pack bigger than that in the Nexon. It will have a dual-motor setup with an all-wheel drivetrain and could offer a range of more than 500 km (claimed). The all-wheel drive setup for the Harrier EV produces 500 Nm.
How safe is the Harrier EV?
In terms of passenger safety, it will likely get up to seven airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and hill-hold and hill-descent control. The Harrier EV could also use advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
What will be my alternatives?
The Tata Harrier EV will take on the Mahindra XEV 7e while being a premium alternative to the Hyundai Creta Electric and MG ZS EV.
