The Tata Punch is a cool little SUV that's perfect for city driving. It's got a tough, stylish look that makes it stand out, and the high seating position gives you a good view of the road. It's easy to drive and handle bumps well. I like the performance of the car, especially when i switch to sports mode, car rocks. Inside, it's surprisingly roomy with a decent infotainment system and good safety features. If you are after something compact with a bit of attitude, the Punch is a solid pick.

The Tata Punch EV gets a new face to now bring it in line with newer Tata models. So while the squat bodywork is unchanged, you have a similar full-width light bar as the Nexon EV. This one too doubles up as a charging status indicator. The clean blanked-out face works here too, but you get a large split airdam with vertical slats to go with the futuristic theme. The light clusters are the deep-set angular ones similar to the new Nexon. This look is crisp but we think the individuality between the Nexon and Punch is somewhat diluted now.

I must say, my family has made a great choice in recently purchasing the Tata Punch EV. Driving about Mumbai's busy streets, this small SUV makes things look so simple. Its silence and smooth electric motor truly help it to shine when negotiating packed roads and narrow lanes. Charging the Punch EV is easy, and the range fits my everyday travel from Navi Mumbai to Andheri. My children love the cozy back seats, the inside are really roomy. Long rides are kept interesting for us all by the latest conveniences such touchscreen infotainment systems.The Punch EV lived up last month when we visited Lonavala. We made the trip easily with its great battery life, appreciating the picturesque splendor free from concern about running out of. We even had a little picnic close to the Tiger's Leap, and the car's lots of boot room easily fit all we would have needed.
