Latest Update: Tata has dissolved its joint venture with Jayem Automotives. This JV yielded performance oriented Tiago and Tigor JTP models under JTSM (Jayem Tata Special Vehicles) brand. Both the models are no longer on sale.
Tata Tiago JTP Price: The Tiago JTP was priced at Rs 6.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Tata Tiago JTP Engine: The Tiago JTP was only available with a petrol engine: a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine rated at 114PS and 150Nm with a 5-speed MT. It is the same engine that powers the Nexon SUV, but in that it generates 120PS/170Nm.
Tata Tiago JTP Features: The Tiago JTP offered 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto climate control. Other features on offer include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front fog lamps, rear washer and wiper, day/night IRVM, central locking and manual AC.
Tata Tiago JTP Rivals: The Tiago JTP had no natural rivals but it competed against the likes of the Maruti Baleno RS, Volkswagen Polo GT, Ford Figo and the Abarth Punto.
