Writing this review after driving of 21k in one year. Practical car, no nonsense stuff anywhere. Mileage: 14-15 in city and 18-20 on highway with AC. Maintenance: I just spent total 3700+3750 in a whole year due to changing of engine oil, filter etc. Comfort: Superb and No sound from outside. Pick up too good and steering response is fantastic.

I chose Toyota Yaris over Volkswagen Vento/Rapid. I never considered buying a Toyota, but Yaris just blew me away. It is best for me because it is luxurious but the only thing. I hate is the cup holders but I ignore it and the worst thing is it has poor mileage which is very bad for a high tech car. Yaris is a good looking car and its engine is very silent and Toyota gives a very special discount on this car.

The car is well built and remains planted and glued to the road at all times. I've been driving my CVT variant now for the last 1 month and has crossed 2k mark. It is a perfect beauty to drive. I found Yaris better than Honda city and glad that I preferred Yaris over City. Till now I never found any under performing engine or low pick up as reviewed by some online.

The Toyota Yaris will undoubtedly give fierce competition to sedans in this segment like the Honda City and the Hyundai Verna. With Six airbags as standard and rear disc brake on offer, this car will grab a lot of attention. Although a lack of a diesel engine is an issue, but go for the petrol CVT, its excellent to drive.

I test drove this car yesterday only and its amazing. It is far better than Ciaz but the tough competitors are Verna and City. But it also has a powerful engine and good suspension. Gesture control is a thing which is only in jaguar xf Sportbrake and 5 and 7 series but Yaris has done it.

Safety on Indian roads is a prime concern for me and the Toyota Yaris seems like God send.
